Please feel free to remind any Liverpool or Arsenal fans of your acquaintance that, had Jimmy Hill not introduced three points for a win to promote 'attacking football', then Liverpool would have been Champions this season and Arsenal would have pipped us to fourth place.

Liverpool 67 points (30 wins, 7 draws)
Manchester City 66 points (32 wins, 2 draws)
Chelsea 51 points (21 wins, 9 draws)
Arsenal 49 points (21 wins, 7 draws)
Tottenham 48 points (23 wins, 2 draws)

So put your hands together in memory of the great man.

Or, if you consider it more fitting, just use one of them to rub your chin in vigorous fashion.

Either way, let's celebrate his achievement in stopping this PL season from having been absolutely horrendous. I can't even begin to imagine what I'd be feeling like right now, so thank you, Jimmy. You legend.

I imagine if he was still alive his house would be getting burned down tonight.

Jimmy Hill had quite a few "Colemanballs" moments down the years ..

One of my favourites .. "Despite the rain, it's still raining here at Old Trafford"

Ah Jimmy Hill, a man so learned and steeped in the game, that only he could have had the insight to have said "I've always said that the winner will always be the team that scores the most goals."

Genius.
