I was in the 1%. Even after their second goal I sat calmly thinking its not over, we are going to win this, we are destined to. I kept thinking about the day before (LPool and Barca) and thinking, we are going to be sensational as well. Even when Verts hit the post in the dying minutes when it was 2-2, I thought we are still going to seal this, and we did. I just felt it in my water.

Could be a UTI mate you want to get that checked out.

I got it wrong about Moura from when he first joined, I wanted Malcom. I also got it wrong in Jan, I was still happy to let Llorente go as soon as Son came back but he's done absolutely everything you can ask of a backup striker.

During that game with Ajax, when it went 2-0 I felt it wasn't over because of how early it was but I must admit I was feeling so angry with the team and it wasn't for me it was for Kane, the cameras kept going to him and he looked like the blood has been drained for his face and it was the first time I said to my mrs that if I was Kane I'd want to leave watching this, all of these players have more physical gifts than Kane and he's better than the lot he deserves better, it was also the first time where a bit of doubt crept into my feelings towards Poch as I seeing our defence just constantly being battered in that first half and nothing was changing, I had that little bit of doubt that he was going to be able to turn it around. I actually felt pretty guilty even though I hadn't been on the forums doubting him or anything like that but Poch has never let me down but I did in my support during those brief few minutes leading up to half time.

Like many people, I completely wrote off Sissoko but he's thankfully proved me wrong. Been absolutely vital to anything good we've done this season. I criticised him when he was crap so it's only fair to acknowledge when he's been good. Sonny probably deserves player of the season more, but part of me would love SIssoko to win it as the final confirmation of his redemption at the club.

Yep, hands up here. I was totally wrong, Liverpool are actually bigger wankers than I first thought.

Not denying that some of them might be chancers. But there's plenty of wheelchair users who can stand or walk in short amounts, but not consistently or over a practical distance. The idea that a wheelchair user can never ever stand up results in way too many ending up getting abused and accused of all sorts when they're genuinely disabled. So I think it's best not to cast judgement unless we know for sure.

Nice one (y). I'm usually quite positive, and I thought we'd be better in the second half, but I couldn't see us scoring three in 45 minutes.

When I first started supporting us I thought we were called Tottenham Hotspurs.
BBC aired a phone call with Alan Sugar on the morning after the Ajax victory displaying his image and the following text:

'Former Tottenham Hotspurs Chairman' :banghead:

I thought Lamela was going to be as good as Bale
Thought Alderweireld was a waste of £11m because we had Kaboul
Thought Soldado was an incredible buy
Thought AvB was an amazing hire at the time
Poch was my third choice behind Van Gaal and De Boer

Not as bad as me, when I first started supporting us, I didn't know our nickname was Spurs. I proudly told a friend "I support Tottenham", she said, "oh right, Spurs.." I said "no, Tottenham"

I thought Rebrov would be one of our greatest players ever and that Chris Day would become an England regular. Can't think of anything I've got wrong more recently :smug: ... :shifty:.

Thought we’d finish 7th having signed no one last year - voted as such.

However, I feel I was no more delusional than the people who thought we’d finish 1st. (Same number of places from where we ended up).

I voted that we would finish 2nd this year. Sorry I got that wrong but finishing 4th and being in the CL final is an excellent season in my book especially since we haven't signed anyone and played most of the season at that shit hole called wembley.

I can walk within reason, and sometimes push myself further, but I should get myself some form of wheelchair/scooter. yesterday has taken the stuffing out of me. but will still walk when I get the chance

I thought trippier would shine this season but instead it was grim watching him at times.

I didn't think Kane would make it at Spurs. I was thankfully so wrong as nothing is nicer than watching one of us, a true Spurs fan, be our talisman and the best striker in the world.

Sissoko, like everyone else.

Thought Rose was finished at the start of the season due to injuries, but he's come back stronger.

I was wrong about Davies, didn't see the point in that signing, but he's been an excellent servant to the club, steady player and certainly very consistent.

Llorente has also proven us all wrong this season, proving to be a very useful back up to Harry and providing us with something different when we've needed it, more often than not.

I love being wrong when it comes to Tottenham.

Thought Bale wouldn't cut it as it was too busy messing around with his hair.

Thought Poch was AVB2

Thought Sissoko was a one in ten player at best and the nines were horrific.

Sadly I was right about a few too. (Ramos and AVB being the worst coaches in living memory for example)

I'd really have to disagree there. He had all sorts of mediocrity in the squad he inherited from Harry - stars gone in Ledley, Modric and VDV, bad attitudes like Benny, Ade and Kaboul, players past their best like Defoe, Dawson, Lennon and Huddlestone, and the simply not-very-good like Naughton, Caulker, Holtby and Falque. Despite the Bale heroics I think 72 points and an unlucky 5th place was a pretty fair reflection. He certainly did nothing special but for me he doesn't come close to being as bad as several of the pre-Jol managers.
