I had Dustin Johnson each way;
Tony Finau for a top 5 finish
and Tiger on the nose at 14/1

Jolly well done all 3 of you!

Just an unbelievable sporting achievement from where Woods was physically and mentally to come back and win perhaps golf's most prestigious Major - superb!

.....i'd enjoy it even more if it wasn't for the fact that my bets were Molinari and Finau!!!!

Ian Poulter finished joint 12th which I think means he gets automatically invited to next year's tournament.(y)

Someone put down $85,000 on Tiger few days before the tournament. It'll net the bettor $1.2 million.

Over the moon for Tiger, can see him chasing down Nicklaus’ record over the next couple of years...great for the sport

To comeback from his injuries is almost impossible to believe. I never thought I would see him be able to play tournament golf for four days again, let alone play at the highest level.

You could see how he used his experience on that back nine when others made errors ... still can't believe Molinari made mistakes ... Tiger played with his head. A truly great sporting performance

How disappointing was Rose though? World Number 1 and not making the cut is extremely poor - especially someone as consistent as Rose.

Despite that, it was great to see final day so many big guns up the leader board - bodes well for the other Majors as a sporting spectacle.

I know I’ve been banging on about how much I dislike Tiger Woods in this thread but even I was somewhat moved by the ending.

The power of sport eh? It transcends...

Rose has been out of form these last few months. Not surprising after a couple of years of very consistent golf. We have seen in the last few years that players have hot streaks then tail off it is not since Tiger that we have had a truly dominating player, DJ has been closest to that

Yea woods won the Masters which is one of the greatest comebacks ever in golf (and possibly sport) but i'd say he'd trade that for my scramble win and the hole in one I got today, all In bloody freezing weather with very strong wind not that I'm trying to take away from his achievement... Still sitting here watching sky waiting to see a replay of my shot

Its amazing too because in the last decade or so since he was successful the game has changed. Now the tour is full of young, fit, big hitters who can easily carry 300 yards off the tee. When Tiger was in his pomp this stood him apart from the field.

Today he showed he can use his brain and game management to get round and his ability to handle pressure is 2nd to none. Will stand him in good stead moving forward.
