Keeping Poch is fundamental to Spurs being a success over the next few years.

So as well as giving him a sizeable pay increase, if I was Joe Lewis I would do what he does in his other businesses - give Poch a small % shareholding in the club with an incentive scheme that would increase his stake if he achieved various goals such as qualifying for the Champion's League, winning trophies etc.

Owning 5% of Spurs would make him want to stay!

I'd imagine that would cause a bit of an issue should Poch eventually move on from the club.

A great idea, but would it appeal to a miser?:)

So either Eriksen is close to signing a big contract extension or we’re about to encounter a huge problem.

We can't lose Ericsson!
He has developed into one of the best players in the premier. He makes us tick. He can't be on his way aswell as the others who are meant to sold. That would be too much change in 1 window.

God I hope not. Just my opinion but I think Eriksen is the single most important player to the way we play. We can middle through without Kane with people like Son etc stepping up but without Eriksen we look devoid of ideas, see Saints away this year.

Desperately do not want to lose him, so hard to replace!

I’m trusting Levy to sort this out.

Levy: So you want Christian, ok we will part exchange for Neymar (plus cash)....

Some time ago way back in the old transfer wish list it was said two players, which did not include Toby, were seeking assurances but all was good. Same with Poch and that he would be backed.
Have always suspected that Eriksen might have been one given his growing reputation - I trust that all is still good in the world and that all these stories are merely ways to put pressure on Levy to sort out contracts and loosen purse strings.

Being a Spurs fan and therefore pessimistic - I'm not liking the sound of this.
