We are not looking for a pacey winger. We are trying to shift two pacey wingers on.
I'm not trying to make this a Q&A or anything, but from this statement I assume we're actively trying to shift Townsend as well as Lennon. Interesting, as I was under the impression we were most likely going to keep Andros.

Bolasie? I've seen epileptics share a bowl of noodles with more grace and coordination than this guy with a ball at his feet

Has flashes where he manages to bamboozle the full back instead of himself, but we need a lot more than he can offer

Levy has been giving a warning about Lloris .. Time to make this windows count.

What warning? That he may want to leave for another club which might well pay a much bigger fee than we bought him for? Business is business I bet.

Why are people so opposed to Bolasie? I cant say I watched him every game but he seems like a pacey, effective winger/wing forward, I thought thats what we wanted

Probably because he's not classes as a wonder kid on football manager

What better ITK-related birthday gift could ol' Sarge wish for than a regurgitated link to Yannick Bolasie?!

About right, as our width are from wingbacks. So we are looking to bring in pacey intelligent Wide Forward. Interesting that we are looking to move on Townsend as well.

If he was the same age as Werner and N'jie, I'd be excited about Bolasie's potential, and think he was worth a try, that he could grow into an even better player and round out his faults. But he's 26, whereas Werner and N'Jie are 19 and 21. I look at Bolasie and see a talented but flawed player, who is unpredictable and inconsistent, but with a lot less potential to get better compared to the other wingers we've been linked to.

Bolasie had 4 goals 6 assists last season. 3 of those were away to Sunderland, which even Soldado could've done?!

He isn't going to offer more than what Townsend or Lennon could do...

Lamela is a much better footballer than Bolasie. Per other ITK, I hope we get Werner or N'jie rather than Bolasie, he's one of those players that always looks like he might do some damage but then never really does anything apart from the odd trick or nice dribble. He's also not that young and doesn't have a lot of scope to improve.

Bang on.

I reckon the bold bit might be why we're looking to move Townsend on...

Maybe ;) But as his end product is almost zilch....he is just another winger. The system that MoPo believes in, requires more than a traditional winger - a Wing Forward who contributes as a scorer as well.

N'Jie expected to sign a new deal at Lyon, we are being used again!

I think a deal structured between £15-20m for Berahino is acceptable in this market based on his nationality and age, and also the fact he shouldn't be on crazy wages.
