The ITK that we aren't making any signing really shows Poch has been let down by Levy this summer. He will have identified number 1 target(s) for Levy to bring in, unfortunately Levy couldn't do his job or wouldn't pay the market price. Pochettino 40/1 next manager to leave - Would not surprise me if he walked. Promises obviously have been broken, after all he has done for this club in his time here he should naturally be aggrieved.

"Mess around and fail to get any of Poch's targets then throw any opportunistic last-minute crap at him hoping he reluctantly accepts one of them"

I'm sure Donna will spin that appropriately :p

I'm taking that as informed opinion.

Yet people in here will probably still laugh at/look down on how Liverpool conducted their business this summer. They played the game and won.

I get we don't have the same budget, but if we did indeed have locked in targets we should have gone all out to deliver one or two.

We can pretty much forget martial...Manu would need a replacement for him and they don't have it and it not like they need the money either.

key point :ROFLMAO: pointless if they're just fillers who won't be first XI.
Like Gomes? Injured I know for the next 8 weeks, but a season lasts longer. Injury a bargaining tool. I am not suggesting him at all, but a situation where a loan to buy could be used as an advantage.

They've played the game. Who knows if they've won yet? If the signings don't work out and they come 5th they're in a large amount of trouble having spent so much. Given how high their wages to turnover is going to be they could also be in trouble if e.g. the TV rights fall in a couple of years time, something almost entirely outside of their control. What we've got in English football right now looks suspiciously like a bubble. It's at least as important to be in a good position if and when it bursts as it is to try and rise with it right now.

ah well. frustrating that the year we properly need to flex the muscles in the window we can’t even make one.

Didn’t even care who we got to be honest. As long as ol Poch boy was happy. Can’t imagine he is. Can’t imagine many players are either. Will be interesting seeing who is still here come next year

Thanks to all ITK for the info

I still say too late. In all the years lurking here and then becoming a poster here, have I ever felt so deflated with no hope than I do today in regards to Spurs dealings. Very flat.

:(

Not You Vinny. Gotta keep that hope alive. We still got a good team, yeah this window is a bit of a fuckfest but such is life. We'll come out on top.
