More like levy haggling over the payments of the deal. Probably wants to pay the 60m over 2-3 years

Big fees like this will definitely be spread out over a number of years.
The only thing we know for sure is that Lyon won't sell him until they've signed his replacement.

Yeah, of course that's what it is.

It'll be absolutely nothing at all to do with the Aulas statement.

What I can say to you is if you see a very good box-to-box midfield youngster arrive, in the coming days, then there will be a chance that Tanguy Ndombele leaves".

Yeah, of course it's most likely Levy.

No fair. You’re using actual quotes to poke holes in his anti Levy agenda.

Do you think real Madrid barca citeh etc just rock up with a truck load of cash for a £20.00 discount ?

All transfer deals today are done over the length of the contract signed it's really not a cunning Daniel levy plan.

"but for the moment, we have not received offers of the level that we feel is a just price.”

and you are both conveninently forgetting the last part of the statement.

When he gets it done, he'll get the plaudits, but not before.

If and when we get the N’Dombele deal over the line it should be the catalyst for others to follow as it shows real intent to both target and obtain quality players.
Hopefully also a catalyst for various senior players signing new contracts (e.g. Eriksen, Vertonghen & Alderweireld).

Aulas is just trying to maximise the amount he gets for the player. He’ll end up selling to the highest bidder - which I think will be us.

What you mean like nearly every other deal that takes place with every club?

I have to admit I'm hearing ver similar to Hertyid, although we are talking about Levy and Aulas here so advise against getting the tattoos just yet.
