My gut feeling is that Poch will have told Levy to get him who he wants by the first day of pre-season.
He’ll not have him 1st day even if we do sign him. He’s playing in the Copa America. He’ll need a break. Assuming they get out the group there’s a strong chance he’ll still be playing in that until at least the end of June, early July.

I know they lost v Colombia but they’ve got Paraguay and Qatar left to play and it odds on they’ll get out that group.

I am guessing he has still said to Levy he wants his “wants” locked up and delivered by the first day of pre-season, if only so as he knows the players are “in”, extra rest or not. It would seem like a clear and fair marker on Poch’s part to see if the suits are ready to accept we are a big club with big debt, yes, but also big big income..:

Hertyid on coys talking about the cost (£63 million) of ndombele, opinion perhaps but educated nonetheless:

“I would be genuinely surprised if Levy didn’t pay that for Ndombele. Seems like a fair price for a true world class prospect.”

It does rather seem to be the going rate these days. The market is the market.

The radio silence from ITKs is making me nervous but that’s a positive sign from HY, even if it is personal opinion.

Remember the days when the club had more leaks than the Titanic and ITK came in faster than we could read it. Them were the days.

It's probably easier to keep things on the low-down if you're only after 2 or 3 key signings

Clarke and Sessegnon(s) strike me as real classic Spurs signings. Would love it if we signed them. Would suppliment our attacking options for Cup games perfectly.

So Clarke must be the teenager under 15 million which Herc alluded to. Which leaves 3 main targets, GLC, Ndombele and RS.

Yep - then use any further sales (Tripper, Aurier, Wanyama, Janssen etc) to try to fund a RB. Makes sense.
