Pleased to hear Alves unlikely. Can’t see it happening, free transfer but wages and signing on fee would be mental for a 36-year old.

Sorry but I'm surprised people really genuinely thought we would drop the best part of 120 million on Ndombele and Lo Celso with no incomings. I've always thought it was likely we wouldn't get Lo Celso without Eriksen leaving.

This is Daniel Levy we're talking about!

It's not what the ITK has been telling us though plus outgoings need not only be Eriksen.

Who the fuk is cellabos? :ROFLMAO:

Seriously though, thanks dov. Would have thought ceballos would be the one on hold under eriksens situation not glc but also agree that it seems odd to have so much cash going out without anything as yet coming in.

The previous ITK was NDombele and Lo Celso not being subject to Eriksen leaving. Ceballos as per ITK was low down the pecking order. Then the under 21s happened, a tournament in which Ceballos was outstanding and now looks to have become a priority signing. I’d say it’s NDombele plus Ceballos, and hopefully Lo Celso too when we finally move Eriksen on.

Yup. Seems glc and ceballos have switched places, probably also partly due to hercs update that betis want far too much at this point. Seems we’re happy to wait them out with levy playing his long game poker.

Ndombele, Ceballos loan (OTB) and one of Lo Celso or (preferably) Eriksen with a new contract, and we'll be looking good. Add to that Sessegnon and we've got serious options.

I don't think that's overly optimistic either.

Perhaps the fact Betis have ramped up the price has altered the stance from us, Ceballos now priority instead, although that contradicts Hercules earlier.

Plus the previously mentioned U21 who’s name is not commonly known yet.

Other than Saliba, we haven’t been linked to any player well below 21 in europe. Must be a well thought of youngster if £25m plus is the price being bandied around.

We were linked to Benoît Badiashile, a leftfooted 18-year-old Monaco CB. Fleeting links in media a week or so ago -- no idea, of course, if there's any substance to the links.

You do know he hasn’t named names, don’t you?

And my encyclopaedic knowledge of U21s has only really piqued the interest of the police...:cautious:

Try reading the SC ITK threads

Hercules many ITK posts in the read only SC ITK thread name several players we are after. The only name not given is for the well under 21 player with great potential.

Sorry? Rewind a little, Poch tried to sign Steven Gerrard?

Shut the front door!

Yeah... I think some wires definitely got crossed there. We never approached him as a player.

On a similar vein I’d be shocked if Parrott becomes a key part of the first team squad too, he might get a few minutes with some injuries if he does well in pre-season but he doesnt look like being first or even second deputy at this stage. Seems like there’s been a lot taken from him being involved in pre-season but I don’t think it’s fair to judge him by that barometer at this stage. Looks a good talent though so hopefully he gets his chances to impress.

I wonder if this is a random ITK minor point plant to see how much the News Now ‘media’ take their stories from forums. Imagine if we see “Gerard was wanted by Spurs” reports tomorrow, it would be quite funny!

Cheers for posting. A timely reminder to apply appropriate salt to any ITK we get (unless it's JJ).

He's winding up dougal. Who was a little annoyed that rice chose to play for england instead of ireland. Even though all his youth games were for ireland.
It was pure chance I even saw it as I don’t normally frequent this thread.

Not just Rice either...
