Our only hope is that none of the other big boys want him. To be honest tho, I can imagine he will want a mega contract and I don't see us paying what we have to. Here's hoping tho.

Isco is creative but basically right off of the striker. Eriksen manipulates games for us across the whole pitch. Doing a swap between those two wouldn't be a good outcome for us unless we got enough cash along with Isco to buy a very good CM.

This is spot on, we would need another player to replace Eriksen directly, no other player in our squad close to him

Eriksen is way better than Isco atm but it wouldn’t hurt as much getting him and Bale in return

Assuming CE won't sign a new contract, this would be the best move Levy could make. We've made a great progress in last 3-4 years, yet it is still not enough to attact players Poch wants (which resulted in no trasfers last year).

Swapping Eriksen for Isco would fix this, as we would get a first team/star player instead of money we wouldn't really spend.

I'd still prefer keeping Eriksen, but it might be off the table.

Have to believe it wouldn't be a straight swap, we'd almost certainly get some cash as well. I do agree that this is about best case as you could hope. Isco plus cash coming our way eases the pain ever so slightly.

My opinion, looking at Hercules being in a good mood about it and also the fact Chelsea are being able to shell out now for Pulisic and supposedly two midfielders one costing 45 mill from Italy makes me think Hazard is going to move to Chelsea sooner rather than later. Whether that might mean they can't get Eriksen and thus the good mood or whether Isco needs to move on but I can only work with what's been mentioned.

Thinking maybe we won't get any cash if we get isco. Just a swap
