I think people need to calm down about players being sold. I think the likes of Wanyama are just available if a good offer comes in. Not that we're actively trying to sell. Just that we need to offload some players to bring in some players and Wanyama is one that we can sacrifice if it comes to it.

As for the Bale stuff I think it's just a matter of great if we get him but no big deal if not. What I mean is that we'll still get our other deals done in the meantime and they're independent from the Bale stuff. If Bale is signed in addition then it's a massive bonus. If not we still have Moura who I think will be great next season.
I'd say we will look more like Man City or Liverpool or even RM or Barça with CMs who can pass better than Dembele.
I agree. as herc hinted we will all be very surprised on the playing formation. I think poch wants even more fluidity and would require more attacking passers of the ball in midfield. let's be honest, our holding 2 between the likes of dier, dembele and wanyama were not direct enough in their passing. I think this is linked with the concerns that we have become to predictable in attack as mentioned by herc as well. had winks not got injured I think poch would have easily had winks as one of the guaranteed starters for us in midfield.

Can someone with better english than me translate the CH meaning?

Don't worry, there are old names for positions, then normal names and then there are new fifa/fm positions.
People just love overcomplicating putting a ball into a net.

I must admit, I'm keeping rather optimistic at this point in time with regards our plans.

Martial is one I've wanted for years as I really do believe he could become our version of Henry. This guy is a world beater waiting to be unleashed by a progressive and attack minded manager such as Poch, rather than being wasted on Mourinho whose main skill is to just nullify teams with his cautious approach. I'm desperate for us to get him but if it falls through then I wouldn't be totally opposed to Zaha. At least we are looking at getting some real pace and trickery into the team.

I'm also pleased with the prospect of Grealish as we have been crying out for an alternative to Eriksen in the creative department. When teams block him we seem to really struggle at breaking them down so it would be good to even get them on the pitch at the same time when needed. With the expected relatively small fee seems, this deal feels like a non-brainer for me.

I still hold the view that Toby (when fit) is the best defender in the league so would be delighted if a compromise is reached, but if it's too late for that, de Ligt is the only one we should go big for in my opinion. There is no point in wasting funds on inferior back-ups when Foyth and Dier are more than adequate at covering. This would free up the funds we need elsewhere.............which brings me to my only gripe.......

I am absolutely astonished that there has been such little talk of ANY major central midfielders, be it from our beloved ITK's or the media. As I mentioned earlier, we lack creativity massively if Eriksen is marked out of a game and as many have said, this is the area we desperately need someone to keep the ball ticking over. Dembele is a master at what he does, but he is looking like leaving and I'm really worried that we are not seemingly in the hunt for one CM, let alone the two that is really needed body wise. I can only hope that Herc's info about PSG means that maybe a deal for Rabiot could be looked at down the line, and if I'm honest, let's get on the blower to Madrid about Kovacic and Modric to see what the situation is.

So overall, still looking forward to a really good summer of business, but the lack of links to the midfield really has me baffled.

Any one know if we can vote for a character limit?

Remind me in 3 months to say happy birthday.

Might need to remind me who you are though.

Aside from Citeh & PSG. I am informed that PSG are hamstrung, and cannot compete due to that, until they unload. Europe do not have the money of EPL. Guess what? Daniel knows that
I think Daniel will find that PSG will be able to compete when they sell Neymar to Madrid
