I'm surprisingly calm at the moment.

All of the current ITK seems to point to 3 or 4 deals lined up and ready to go, with the club just needing to decide which deals benifit the club the most, both on and off the field.

Once we've decided, I think things could move very fast.
A lot hinges on Eriksen's situation. I don't think we can realistically afford 2 of "the 4" without getting a guarantee of a decent chunk for him.

Does it really still make sense to push these transfers to the wire? I just don't see deadline day deals being a thing anymore. There's just too much money in world football to think you can push teams into a corner. We tried it with Villa and with WBA a few years ago. We even ended up paying 30m for Sissoko because Newcastle didn't blink on deadline day.

However, remember to throw a bit into the SC coffers, this window has been fantastic theatre one way or the other.

So it all comes down to the final 24hrs... is anyone really surprised?

We love it, we really do.

Levy is the master of suspense and everyone else (the fans, the players, Poch, Betis, Sporting, United, the Bank manager, the tea lady...) is just along for the ride. Might as well 'enjoy' it while we can!

White knuckle ride typical of the TW. Great ITK all through this window. Up to DL to bring these home now!

Which turned out to be a decent deal in the end, after the season he's just had.

Sounding really positive about BF now in the latest ITK from Breezer. I reckon BF + Sess + One of the others mentioned even with CE going out is a decent window and achievable from where we currently sit.

With the PL window ending earlier, I think we're in for a lot more of them as the continental clubs will be trying to extract everything they can from the PL clubs before the player's market value drops.

Why isn't Eriksen and his situation not being talked about in his own thread?

But they are talking about him in his own thread A&C.

Well, you wouldn't have thought it A&C, people are banging on about him in here as if there's nowhere else to put it.

Perhaps they feel the need every time he's mentioned? Oh I don't know, you're obviously fighting a losing battle A&C, perhaps it isn't their turn to share the family braincell?

I don't know about that A&C, but who knows how these peasants think

Ha! They think? Fuckoff A&C, you've been sniffing those glue sticks again. I bet you can't wait until 5pm tomorrow,

Damn straight A&C you're one shrewd fucker you know that?

You too A&C, you're good looking and have a package like a grand national winner

Cheers A&C

You too A&C

Good looking package?

Coutinho/Dybala incoming

Solved it lads

That's short sighted, what do we do if he leaves on a free, not replace him? We need to replace him and clearly we need to do it now. Players of his calibre won't come cheap regardless when we do it. Let's face it we are trying to replace one of our top 3 players..

Yeah plus we still have time to sell him to a European club - which is where he wants to go. I'd say he will leave and we are fairly certain he will also so get a replacement in now.

Gards said today on twitter that he will leave this summer. And confirmed rumours about Atleti.

24 hours of the transfer window left.

If you listen very carefully, you can hear Daniel Levy preparing to get out of bed and start negotiating some deals.

Coutinho looking like a last resort option.

GLC progressing and close to completion.

BF still a possibility but not a priority.

Sess all but done.

Dybala ongoing.

Eriksen not going to United. Maybe to Atleti.
