A 3rd keeper, not bad. Not a crucial signing but a start. Could be as handy as Cerny was on loan.

I wonder if we really do need the money or not though. There always seems to be money free if we really need it. I just think our squad is too full atm and we don't want to lose money on certain players because we can't register them in the 25. That's probably why we're talking about swap deals, 1 in 1 out.

Hutton for Cahill, Giovani for Huntelaar, Keane (or Jenas and Bentley too) for Young, all have been mentioned already. All would be expected to be player + cash from us. Harry confirmed we're looking at swap deals aswell. That could be an option that favours a number of clubs this month.

Harry's has recently given me the impression that we are taking the piss out of City,I really don't think Harry wants Bellamy,Richards or any of their players and its all a smokescreen,he knows they won't sell/loan to us anyway.
I don't think we are busted and I think we will get the players we want,when we want them and they will be top guys.

cudicini looked ok in the USA but hasn't impressed in the Prem

we need better back up than him

finally a signing subject to medical of course. he will be decent back up for gomes.

By the sounds of it this has been subject to medical for the past 12 months (caused by his long term injury, as opposed to our usual faffing).

Happy enough to have a 'new Cerny' on board.

I think the reason for the loan is to assess him, and also see how Cudiccini goes over the next 12 months

He's getting on a bit so maybe the signing of Stipe is to see Cudiccini off in 12 months time then we sign Stipe once we see how he fits in.

Looks like a typical shrewd Levy move to me.

I'm not suggesting that I know what the reason is, I'm just looking at the logic and having a guess on what they are thinking.

Yeah, I'm with you on this one mate. I do get the feeling Harry is toying with City a bit, using a bit of misdirection to get them to second-guess what we're actually doing. But having said that I still feel he's interested in one or two of their players. Not sure that the former necessarily rules out the latter.
