Going by deadwoods - Nkoudou, Sissoko, Janssen, Llorente. And add Dembele to the out list.
Except Dembele, how the hell are we going to get rid of deadwoods but at a good price for Levy
I can't see any movement here till last 48 hours of window closure.

Maybe we won't, and because of the information overload we get nowadays it might placate some fans as to why we had such a shit transfer window. (No squad places)
Of course i hope we have a great transfer window, but it would be genius of Levy if he sent out the info to calm the more moderate fan if we do have a disappointing window

After thinking about it Sanchez and Aurier were kept pretty well under wraps until later on. Llorente came out of the blue too. Maybe they have some other stuff ongoing this summer as ITKs have suggested.

If you want to take any key word etc from HY ITK it is the bit about home grown players and the fact we need to sign them. Certainly interested me.

Aurier was well known about. It took ages because of the court Case. That allied to the fact many thought a richer club would gazump us for him made it pretty tense.
This window is different. Nothing seems to be happening. Even the papers seldom write about transfers involving us. Just so quiet

Surely there cant be many HG players that we would be interested in that are also attainable? Grealish obviously is one, but with Hertyid seemingly ruling out Zaha I cant see who the other/s would be?

Maybe wrong but think we can still sell to other leagues after August 9th.. would lose a bit of value as other leagues no we need to shift them though.

I think it's more a case of we're limited to home grown players until we can sell a few non homegrown players and therefore free up their slots, as opposed to specifically being after a certain player.

I interpreted it much more as "poch isn't gonna leave solely if we don't sign zaha" rather than "we aren't in for zaha"

If Dier & Davies were classified as home players in the Champions League we wouldn’t have such restrictions. A shame really bit that’s how it goes

That's twice in short order that I've had to lock this thread to remove some of the stuff that this thread doesn't tolerate. I've shown a lot of patience with where a lot of chat today has gone because sometimes it's best to let things run and lets be honest, it's fun when you all get a bit irate without me having to give you a nudge

But seriously, there are some things we won't put up with so don't make the mistake of thinking for yourselves, it's been proven time after time that you just can't do it.

Saying "I won't post the link but on Twitter it's saying" is EXACTLY like posting the link. Posting images? And some dodgy media links, wether the story is true or not, are all for the player threads and NOT in here. Wise up or you're out on your ear.

Zaha is a type of player that could hit the ground running , he knows the PL , pace and can scare a def properly, Grealish wouldnt take too long, the type of players we are buying to to try and push to win PL not CL right now, so some names are not the sexy names we might love and hope for but to win PL it makes most sense as priority ... in previous last few seasons its been the first 10 games we take long to get in gear and draw too many and those few games could be the diff (ok bar last season n city) .... but these players will not take long to adjust where a most foreign players take 6 months plus ... so i read it like this so the signings were going for atm makes sense , similar to martial PL experience ..

Kane, Dele, Rose, Tripps, Winks (might be eligible for B list U21), Grealish

However in the CL 4 of the 8 have to be club trained. 3 of which would be already filled if we add Grealish.

Davies counts as HG in the PL squad but not CL.

So in short 2 more HG players (Grealish +1) does make sense if we want to maximise our PL and CL squads.

By all accounts though Poch doesn't want a massive squad so Grealish will probably suffice for his HG needs.

KWP would be in the 25 man squad as well. In theory we only really need one more I believe
