Clarification on Zaha. As papers are saying; only player/s exchange and cash. You can imagine the list of players. We have our minimum value on players we are prepared to let go, either straight sale, or exchanges. We value Zaha around 55m mark.

I can’t see it myself happening, due to past negotiation tactics and history our end. Going to the wire won’t cut it, and likely to fail (opinion) as Palace holds the cards. Poch wants the deal. It was either Martial or Zaha. We did explore another option, but very difficult to deal with agents of a certain player overseas.

This is where I wonder how it will play out if Poch does not get his player, seeing Martial and another in that department hit the buffers.

Over to you Daniel.

to get Zaha it will need to be 70m, and if Poch wants him then Levy needs to pay, they dont need to sell, big contract left, if Poch wants the player then Levy needs to back him

It's a shame we all know exactly how this plays out

As always appreciate the insight Herc. Not what we wanted to hear really and it's pretty clear that some of his tactics are coming back to bite us. It really is leaving us with nowhere to go. If Poch was promised one of Martial or Zaha and neither come in then I will start to be very concerned. Why not go in for Zaha earlier? We may have been able to apply some pressure early and caused Zaha to push for a move. (Don't answer Herc, I'm just thinking out aloud)

Crickey this is looking bleak. No Martial. No mystery overseas player. And Zaha very unlikely. I'm a natural optimist, but this looks like it's going to be a disastrous window.

Poch has previous for walking if he doesn’t what he was promised.

Our valuation of Zaha at £55m seems reasonable considering what City paid for Mahrez but he does have a long contract. Complicated with player exchange if we have unreasonable expectations of value plus persuading player to go to Palace. A lot of things have to fall into place for this to happen.

Such a shame, this window started out with such optimism.

Hope Levy pulls something out of the bag in the next few weeks, otherwise it's going to be a long difficult season.

It will take Zaha completely throwing his toys out of the pram to even have a slim chance of this happening. But everyone knows how much he loves palace, so that looks very unlikely.

I think Zaha would be a decent addition to the squad. Pacy and skilful which can help create that moment we need to unlock a defence

But even at £55m in todays crazy market its a lot of money for a player that has hardly set the world on fire.
And no doubt if there were player exchanges our valuation on Sissoko or whoever it might be will be a lot higher than Palace's i expect

So i can see a lot of difficulty in agreeing a fee

If Poch wants him after Martial is a no go then we need to go and get him. if Zaha really wanted the move now that might help get it done but i can see this one ending badly and then we will make a last minute panic buy from the french league which will add very little to the squad

That and a few players going the other way to help them fight relegation. That's the only way I can see something happening that keeps all parties involved pretty happy about it

We all know what a stubborn little fucker Levy is, but I just don't see how he can get away without giving Poch what he wants this summer. Poch has more than earned the right to be backed.

Amazing, so ITK now hinting that Poch not getting any of the players he wants could affect his future with us.. pissing off our miracle working manager sounds like a strong strategy for moving forward.

Not only Poch, but I can't imagine that this is making investors any more encouraged about the club and stadium. What we know is that when Levy has to get it absolutely right and really push the boat out, he won't.

Really discouraging stuff.
