Obviously not the most reliable thing to go off but all the clips or pictures I've seen of Eriksen on tour he's been all smiles, having a laugh etc. Would make sense if he's either already signed or agreed general terms for a contract as he's certainly not sulking about not getting a move.
You are absolutely right. I had a selfie taken with him after the open training session. He was smiling.

He attended a fans' event on Saturday and again very obliging with autographs and selfies. Doesnt look like a player in a hurry to leave

Really hope as per ITK, he stays together with Toby.

I've long since thought it would come to that with Janssen and Nkoudou tbh. Nobody wanted them (is Janssen > Monterrey official yet?) and we needed to get them off the wage bill so just take the hit and let them go. GKN can't be on that much, can he?

I expect a busy week at the least. Information shared privately :peeking:
I just love Hercules - my favourite ITK.
:)
And now he´s going to start sharing information privately too? Too godd to be true..?!
:woot::woot::woot:
Anyone knows: do I have to send him my details, or does he have my private e-mail account? He´s ITK - I know - but even on that level? Am I allowed to message him and ask?

It has been widely reported that the RM President, Perez, is who wanted Eriksen there. Zidane is not convinced and, having seen how he has treated another player he does not want (Bale), Eriksen has every right to reassess the situation.
He would be mad not too.

You mean, pay their wages to get them off the wage bill? Pay them all their wages upfront, in one go, rather than over several years? How does that help?

Hey, I didn't say it was a *good* idea. I'm sure Levy would find a way to massage the figures to write some or all of it off. Also, what about additional costs while they're around like use of the facilities, physio man hours if they're training, insurance etc? If it was between paying their outstanding wages in one lump and paying them while they run their contract down (with no prospect of anybody wanting them), it might be more economical to do the former (of course you'd then miss out on recouping a bit if somebody *does* want them before their contract expires).

They can probably offset it against losses.

Creates space in the squad? Reduced pay off, freeing the player to find a new club and saving Spurs some money?

STRIKERS
I do not have any intel on Llorente 1 year proposal. But we do not want to spend good money on a ‘back-up’ (word I don’t like). Whilst Troy may not be ready, and the potential of the kid which we signed from Notts County. I am hearing that we are concerned about spending large in that department.

Tentative inquiries have taken place on experienced ‘back-ups’, but proving challenging, as quality experience have options. If a very good and attractive deal is there near the end of the window, we look at it.

This is my opinion now! All down to Llorente I would say.
