LC, Betis playing hard ball bit he's interested.

GB would now be interested in coming back but financials ATM are ridiculous(for everyone). Agent turning the screw
Only just got the green light to post about Bale but have known this for a week or so, not sure what has changed in this regard.

Thanks Trix for the info. The bold part makes total sense.

Madrid have publicly told Bale that they want rid but he's on £600k a week which no one will pay. Agent will make sure his client doesn't lose out too much financially whilst RM will try and force him out without losing too much money. They're hoping that he will take a cut to go as they think he wants to play. At the end of the day, RM want him out more than Bale does, hence I think they are the ones who will have to take a larger financial hit. RM are a joke of a club.

One thing is for sure, if there is a chance we can get him back, on a deal which is sensible, then we need to do it. IMO Bale will only come back to EPL and there aren't many options open to him. Furthermore, he is loved by our fans unlike at RM so a no brainer that he would be interested.

He’d also be returning to a club in a much, much stronger position now than when we left. He’d get to play with some real talent beside him, for a manager that is essentially the anti-Zidane, for a set of fans that would welcome and appreciate him.

It really would make Eriksen leaving more palatable, with Bale, Moura, Dele, Son and perhaps a couple of other new acquisitions playing alongside Kane in a midfield/attacking force

If we are able to get Bale, then him, Kane and Son would be mesmerising. Look at Liverpool’s front three with a midfield of Wijnaldum, Henderson and Fabinho begins him for the most part.

I really don't want Bale back. Age and fitness aren't on his side, will cost a fair wack, and his attitude wasn't amazing when he left for Madrid. Signing a younger winger like that Dutch bloke is preferable imo

If he fits into our wage structure and we can get 20/25 games out of him, you get him. He is a proper superstar, regardless of how he left or his treatment in Madrid

Might even help us sign a few others over the next couple of seasons, because of his profile

Age might not be on Bales side, but just look at the experiance he has amassed at Madrid, that alone would make it worth while trying to bring him back.

As long as the financials are right, the bringing back a player of Bales experiance and talent is a no brainier.

We would have won it with Bale in our team today. He's experience, skill and fear factor would have tipped the scale in our favour.

We need proven winners if we want to win trophies. Bale is not only a winner, but a world class footballer. Bring him home and let's bloody win something. Being the bridesmaid is shit.

The morning after the night before.....

Seems like Eriksen is off, good player but great? Not so sure.

Poch leaving still seems a possibility, better get these deals done or we could be looking at a new era under a new manager.

With regards to Eriksen selling his house, I think most of us have hoped he would stay but when he didn't sign the new deal before last summer think the writing was on the wall. As good of a player he is he really hasn't had a great season and has gone missing in some of the big games this year.

Problem has been for a while when he plays badly 9 times out of 10 so do we as a team which shows how much of an influence he is and hard to replace no matter what.

Poch to Germany is more a dont make me laugh that would be a backward step if ever there was one. Theres a reason there aren't any decent managers in the Bundesliga at the moment...

So new Goat ITK says Germany is a possibility, that would have to be Bayern right? I don't think they're making a change this summer. Rummenigge just said :
"I am very satisfied with the outcome of the season. I do not know any club that would have fired his coach after the double."

Now, the squad is undergoing a major overhaul this summer and if that goes poorly then the move could make sense. All reports I've seen make it seem Kovac will get at least one more year. Of course, new info doesn't mention a time frame.

The Goats bleat is 1) not a surprise and 2) a little bit raw after last night.

Doesn't fill me with much hope and is a bit of a shame to read all things considered.

To be fair the body language of Eriksen was telling after Ajax. He showed me his heart wasnt here anymore. Time for a cull.

Time for major surgery in the squad. I dont mind Eriksen leaving, he has given us a great time but this season he has been on a downhill. In most important game, did nothing influential. Given his contract situation, we may not get more than 50 or 60m. Take it &replace him with targets like Lo Celso
