LC, Betis playing hard ball bit he's interested.

GB would now be interested in coming back but financials ATM are ridiculous(for everyone). Agent turning the screw
Only just got the green light to post about Bale but have known this for a week or so, not sure what has changed in this regard.

If it’s not about itk mate it shouldn’t be in here. Even if there’s an asteroid about to kill us all it doesn’t get discussed in here (y)

As for lc, thanks trix. He’s their golden goose so no wonder they’re playing hard ball, probably trying to start a bidding war as we’re way off the release clause. One of those though that if we bluff too long someone will dump a suitcase full of cash on the table and we’ll miss out.

Cheers Trix, interesting reading from Madrid.

Sounds like LC is a major primary target.

Hard ball = code word for we're out of it, or is that just me being super cynical because I still believe we will never sign anyone ever again?

Why spam? I’m legitimately asking the question. I’m confused by the dates I’m seeing all over. Looking for clarification.

1. This is the ITK thread

2. Your post has nothing to do with ITK

Thanks For stopping by Trix. Really hope Poch is fully backed this Summer.
Sounds promising regarding Bale also. Everyone clearly knows some agreements are going to have to be met to get Bale away from Madrid.

I'm hopeful that Levy won't also play hardball, yeah we don't want to get bent over but it's more important to get Poch's 1st choice than saving 10-15m

Thanks for the update Trix. Why are we always late to the party? If we had a decent scouting network they would have identified this guy LC before he went to Betis. It’s a joke really. Now he’s going to cost the equivalent of the budget of a small country.

@Zbreps how is this spam? I am referring to ITK on a player and commenting on the Betis response on the price offered for the player in the ITK message. WTF? Is there point commenting in here at all?

Nah I think hard ball means they want more and are hoping someone else also comes in for him to try and drive the price up. Could see this deal stretching into the summer.

Thanks Trix, who can blame Betis for playing hardball once an english team comes in as they know they can get top value for their star player.

Interesting with Bale, and no surprise for me that he would welcome the chance to return to us, he would come back to a set of fans who loved him compared to what he receives at Madrid.

Thanks for the update Trix.

If the reports are true and we have bid 60m Euro then that is offering top value for their star player whom they only signed a couple of months ago for 22m Euro. I am the first to have a pop at Levy when we low ball on offers but if the reports are true we have gone in very high and I'm not sure how much they are looking for. If its 70m to 80m then do others think he is worth that? If he is number 1 on Poch's list maybe?

If there's any chance of bringing the wonderful Welshman home then it's got to be done. He could be the difference between a great team and an all time great team. There's plenty of magic left in his boots and I don't want him going anywhere else. Just imagine him and Harry playing together: if that doesn't give you the shivers then you're a hard person to please.

Thanks Trix. RB playing hard ball over their star player is to be expected, especially at the very start of the window. I expect them at this point to be holding out for his release clause (88M euros?).

I would imagine that GB would have to take some sort of pay cut before Real and Spurs split the wages between them (for loan or permanent move)

But if he's interested in returning, then there may be a chance of this happening

Could drag out until August though...

I wonder how long Betis can play hard ball. Are they even planning on keeping him? Thought they were just buying him so that they could make a profit.

Depends if there is interest from other clubs

Also, we have to remember that Betis will want the money (or at least some of it) in the bank to make their own purchases, so they can't leave it too late in the transfer window as they'll miss out on their own targets
