Plus we'd already heard Edwin Van Der Sar say that they'd only let one or two go and the two big names both seem Barcelona bound. They might let a third go if someone massively overpays, but that's never going to be us.

Nothing they can do about it if Ziyech has a release clause and wants to leave.

Reading between the lines it seems like we are are going all out for Ndombele and the remainder of our transfer business is contingent on whether we get that across the line and I suspect on whether Eriksen leaves.
Reading between what lines? How do you deduce that?

ITK rubbishing interest in most other high profile targets but not commenting on Ndombele and Aulas trying to get a bidding war going. That says to me that we are prioritising Ndombele and whether we get him will then determine our other business.

Re. Post 107 vs ‘changed’ 109

Trix didn’t say this at all. Cheap joke that could be taken in isolation and in the wrong way. Thin ice imo.

We will get prices out of Ndomele especially if PSG are interested.

Regarding Bale, though there is a thread. The only realistic chance of us sniffing, is he is offered as a ‘free’ and then it is possible. More too it than that but not for now.

Thanks for sharing.

So like the Sun reported with RM letting Bale go on a free our only option? How about any loan option at all?

Don't think Bale would leave on a free for obvious reasons, he has a mega contract at RM.

Which is possible, I supppose.

I’m getting giddy. Productivity is a fickle mistress in the transfer window

Very interesting. Clearly indicates he is not on our radar atm if we’d only begin sniffing if he was made available for ‘free’.
I thought the loan option would be of interest but that’s probably paper talk.
Back to Plan A :)
