Morning ITK addicts.
Not the usual round up of ITK this morning i'm afraid as there are a few things that need clearing up. I've waited until this morning to do so as I think more people will see it in this thread rather than in a post lost in last nights thread.
First off, news on Gards44 on Twitter. (This is the ITK curveball I referred to last night. Sorry if you thought I meant info on a player)
We've had an exchange of e-mails and he has given us an idea as to his sources. This, coupled with him being vouched for by JJ has led to us deciding that as of today, his Tweets are welcome in this thread and will also now be put into the Read Only.

When this thread opened we asked that people using their noggins and not post stuff from the known WUM's (Agent ITK etc etc) but still people dragged it into here and looking at it again, it really isn't doing us any favours as it muddies the actual good stuff and creates frustration or whatever, so it would be good if people started to take notice of this request. Personally, I think Twitter isn't the best of vehicles for ITK, for more than one reason, but if you don't like what certain people have to say on Twitter then unfollow them. Just don't bring it onto here.
ITK ABUSE
As you (ought to) know,Rule No1 on the ITK Forums on SC has always been about not abusing ITK. Sadly, this has been on the increase in this thread but not only that, we have SC'ers taking to Twitter to do it too. There's not much we can do about the Twitter part but what we can do is at least put a stop to it here on SC.
Over on COYS they've always had a phrase which covers it rather nicely........ 'Play the ball, not the man'
As for the actual abuse (so and so is a WUM, a bullshitter, a foreflushing **** etc etc), it has to stop. Right now.
It sets the wrong tone/precedent and doesn't do the reputation of the site any favours either. I don't care who it is you're referring to, if you abuse ITK, then you're out. Anyone indulging themselves loses their access to this part of the site without further warning.
Hopefully, we can get back to discussing the actual info rather than the people posting it. After all, that's what we're all here for right?
*Usually, these requests get ignored/skim read/filed under 'yeah right' and there's not a lot I can do about that either, so its up to you. I don't like banning people but if I have to go back to being a rigid **** on the abuse rule then i'll do so. After all, **** is my starsign.
