The ICC prepared the pitches not England and England have been got used to play on flat batting pitches

They were saying on sky at some time that the ICC have left it completely down to the groundsmen and not interfered.

Also - more sick of always having to play at Lords. It's like wembley - doesnt give us an advantage and the support is shit.

I know that's sacrilegious.

It's partly batting, but it is also bowling. As a unit NZ have been much better so far. Apart from Woakes early on all the England bowlers were leaking runs and/or had their line and lengths wrong - until Plunkett came back on after 20 odd overs and was a catalyst. So far every Kiwi bowler has come on and done a job, looked threatening and been tough to get away. Absolutely no let up.

I don't even like cricket but I can't watch that. Makes me feel like I've just drunk 14 espressos in 10 minutes.

So I’m off to bed, if England win, well done and enjoy.

If NZ win, well fuck yeah muthafuckas, who’s the world champions now and fuck you too Australia.

I actually don't mind this as much as I might have done if it were the cheats or something........New Zealand aren't the most dislikable team and they've been knocking on the door often enough and paid their dues so to speak so fair play to them if they get across the line this time.

Proper team. If they win would be difficult to pick out a MOTM - all done a job.

England need to find a way to start scoring boundaries, I know NZ didn't score many, but their running between the wickets has been far superior.

Current run rate is under 4 and over.... Poor.

Whatever happens, this is proving to me that I’d take Stokes over Root any day of the week, Joe’s too flaky when the pressure’s on

Stokes needs to find another gear now, even if it's just rotating the strike and getting Buttler more deliveries.

NZ deserve this for their outstanding catching and fielding in the beg moments. Brilliant.
