Same here. But how do you stay optimist when it comes to watching this groundhog day type of display, which is hardly rare?

I sat down looking forward to a good game of cricket and supporting the lads but we just haven't turned up.

Yes they got wickets in hand, but there's nothing to say that wickets won't tumble once they try and up the run rate.

Without England having even batted yet, what's to say we don't start with a far superior run rate in the first 30 overs

Easy to be optimistic when only a third of the match has been played.
