We need wickets here on a very bowler friendly pitch.

Fielders starting to look worried with every one that passes the bat...

Average bowling, once again unable to take on a proper team.

When does the girls football start:)

Seemers have put huge pressure on the spinners now.

Unless Stokes can do something special with the ball. (Something he hasn't done for a while)

Wood and Archer have been poor. Archer didn't seem fit and Wood just trying to bowl quick but it looks predictable.

We can't even win when we cheat and bring West Indian fast bowlers and Irish batsman they all turn to English mush.

just goes to show again how much luck plays a part when you get to the top level of team sports. england haven't bowled fantastically but aussies still lucky as fuk to be wicketless so far and will prob go on to score 350 now. england's heads are dropping.

Optimistic maybe, but a couple of quick wickets puts England right back in this.

Plenty of cricket to be played yet

Same here. But how do you stay optimist when it comes to watching this groundhog day type of display, which is hardly rare? :cautious:

I sat down looking forward to a good game of cricket and supporting the lads but we just haven't turned up.

Maybe, maybe not.

That's the beauty of cricket is it not As I type this Aus are rolling along at 5.37 rpo

Yes they got wickets in hand, but there's nothing to say that wickets won't tumble once they try and up the run rate.

Without England having even batted yet, what's to say we don't start with a far superior run rate in the first 30 overs

Easy to be optimistic when only a third of the match has been played. (y)

I find it easy to be optimistic, because the outcome will not truly have any bearing on my life

Going along nicely.

We've been told numerous times about the depth of batting in this England side...got to bring it to the fore today.

I'm of the thinking that Starc might have a big say in today's outcome. Handle him, I reckon we win this.
