Do we think son will start? I ask for fantasy football reasons
At a guess, yes. I reckon it will be the same team as our last PL game but Son in for Lamela. Lemala played the full game last night were as Son came off first (of our attacking players), I would be amazed if he doesn’t start regardless of the line up I would like to see. I also doubt Lucas will start, he still needs to build up his fitness.

Have a funny feeling Dembele won't start on Saturday and will be kept for Wednesday hence getting a bit of a run out this evening, otherwise risking him this evening seems absurd.

Also think Lamela will start against Juventus, hopefully Jan back in.

Expect it will be:

Lloris

Aurier
Dier
Sanchez
Davies

Wanyama
Eriksen

Moura
Dele
Son

Kane

I very much doubt Poch will start eriksen alongside wanyama

I’d drop dele going forward Lucas , son , eriksen is creative and pace . Dele isn’t offering anything this season

If you want to get the best our of Kane you keep Dele on the pitch also he's picked up form again, think your opinion is 3 months out of date.

Peolle wanting Lucas to start is a classic case of shiny new toy syndrome.

Wanyama Dembele
Lucas Eriksen Alli

Vs Juventus:

Full strength. 3 points a must.
Question is, with Dembele, Lamela, Son, Moura and Dele all playing well, what constitutes full strength? Only Eriksen and Kane are being absent v Huddersfield significantly weakens us, there's an argument to be made for every other combination of the remaining 'attacking players'.

True. I was just thinking Son, Eriksen and Alli. They seem to be the first choice behind Kane.

Ive a feeling he might save Lucas for Juventus because of his Champions League experience

Rest Dembele (Incomprehensible decision to have him play 30 minutes yesterday).

Rest Davies. Rose needs the minutes and will be highly motived.

...depends on Vert's health - Dier will/should start at either CB or MF regardless...

...the problem with playing 2 of Moura/Lamela/Eriksen together is that all 3 players tend to drift centrally and would make our attack very narrow...
...Alli should start all our important fixtures, and play as an AM - when was the last time he was deployed in a MF2?

I would have agreed regarding Dembele coming on for 30 minutes in the past. But he previously came out in an interview and said he needs to play regularly to find his rhythm, therefore i think saying it is incomprehensible is a tad strong considering the player himself states the opposite to what you are saying. He's in some of the best form we have seen him, so it's clearly working him having him playing regularly. I would start him this weekend.

Alli and Eriksen can swap positions during the game. Both can play in that role.

This! Nobody on here knows how he is feeling after a game, he clearly isn’t almost ready for the knackers yard. He is a beast.
