Think you should check out what Man City fans think of Walker. Although he was rated the best rb in the league in his final 2 seasons with us.

I know what you're saying - but i'm saying the opinion on here went from brain-fart central to best RB when he left...

This is when boys have to become men. They all need to step up to the plate. If we get through this, then with kane and alli back i think we could go deep into the competition especially if we draw teams out of form. I agree with Vertonghen.
Love champions league nights with spurs. Long may it last.

How come? KWP has made 2 errors recently both when he's been on the left side of the pitch where as Jan looked great vs Newcastle.
I want rapid fullbacks.

That said, Ben Pearce seems to think Jan is starting at LB.

Normally I'd agree but we need astute defending especially with a back 4 instead of back 3 (I realise astute defending is not on the menu at rb)

Sancho is that good is he? I don't watch German football and wasn't sure if people were raving about him for being English and a bit quick.

Genuinely couldn’t tell you anything you can’t google yourself, but based on his productivity this season and the fact he plays for Dortmund I imagine he’s a big threat. Hopefully he is just English and quick.

Sancho plays as a RM.

Ah ok, once again, I don’t know much about him other than what I read/ am told so assumed that he played off the left because he’s right footed.

Did you seem him in the glimpses for England? I haven't watched him in Germany but even from that you could tell he has a lot of footballing ability.

I watched Poch's press conference earlier, although I was distracted, did I mistakenly hear him say "Sanchez is not available"??

Will be interesting to see if Moura starts. The fact he wasn't used at all vs Leicester either says Poch was saving him for Dortmund, or he's lost patience with his poor form.

His first ten minutes in an England shirt he roasted the opposition full back three times, out in three crosses and each cross was different and exactly what was required at the time. I don’t remember exactly but something like - First one floated to back post, second one whipped in low to near post and then third one hit head height to the penalty spot. Seems a smart player for one so young.

When I’ve seen him for Dortmund he takes up great positions. Always involved in the play in the danger areas.

I prefer Aurier in tougher games over Trippier all day long. For me he's positionally much better overall defensively stronger in the tackle just more solid ... Personally Aurier is better but he really needs to stamp his authority and make the position his own, he hasn't done so yet.

Pochettinho seems to select Trippier more often and the last time Aurier played Pochettinho dragged him off at half time and hasn't played since.

Maybe he has not had a good season and has not recovered his form from last year. But not as bad as you say. Aurier is no replacement and obviously KWP considers that he is not ready for 1st call. I guess i will have to take Poch's view....and so will you:)
Thankfully Poch has put Trippier in for Leicester and Aurier in for Dortmund, yes. We just about got away with it against Leicester but Dortmund would have ripped Trippier a new one. :)

Based on performances alone, Walker-Peters should be ahead of Trippier too. Walker Peters has put in a few MotM performances in his very few appearances.

Ahh, right on cue - here he is now. :D

Positionally better gave me a real laugh there...also thinking that stronger in the tackle must mean gives away more fouls.

So what's the bloody problem with Rose now?

His fitness is becoming quite frustrating imo. Such a bloody shame.
