Not sure if I’m correct, but Dortmund have conceded 3 goals in their last two games? And scored 3 in both too.

I don’t think they’ll risk Harry. Against the majority in here, but I’d go Llorente in front of Lamela, Son and Eriksen.

Sissy and Winks sat in front of KWP Toby Verts and Rose.

I’d even consider Foyth at RB instead of clustfuck Aurier, and caught out of position Trippier

Lucas off the bench to nick a late goal for a 2-1 win.

A few big starting decisions for Poch;
1. Llorente - BD conceded a few on weekend to headers
2. Defensive midfielder- most of us, don’t have Dier starting but he should now be fit if he’s over virus. If BD at their best, then don’t think Winks & Sissoko can cope. However they might set up as away side and Reus unlikely to play. Hard to call, without knowing Dier’s fitness.
3. Right back - Trippier’s positional walkabouts vs Aurier’s potential errors.
I would go for Auriers pace and athleticism.

Hopefully rose can play again.

Really unsure what to expect here! Expect the game will be quite open...

I don't think Dier has done anything this season to suggest he's a better option in midfield than Sissoko and Winks.

Dortmund have some injury issues.
Reus, CB Akanji both injured & not traveled to London
Another CB Zagadou is coming back from a injury ,available though
Pisczek after Hoffenheim game, complained of a heel issue - possibly fit.

Dortmund have been playing light weight Julian Weigl in CB. Though have to say he has done reasonably well moving into the position. But last game got exposed aerially Dortmund losing a 3 goal advantage from 3-0 to 3-3.

Personally, I would play Llorente against Toprak & Weigl. IMO, thats the area we need to exploit.

My XI :

Lloris,
Aurier, Foyth, Toby, Jan, Rose,
Winks
Sissoko, Eriksen,Son
Llorente

Aurier or Trippier, what an awful conundrum to have.

This, although prior to the last few months, i would have been more than happy with Trippier. Aurier scares me against anyone above average, let alone a team as ruthless as Dortmund.

In conclusion, let's play them both at RB.

You jest, but Sissoko’s been playing as an auxiliary 2nd RB for months now, dropping in whenever Trippier gets caught up field.

I think he’s actually the key man on Weds, because If Reus doesn’t play, Dortmund will surely look to get Sancho the ball at every opportunity. He’s got to be there everytime he beats the fullback and in with a tackle.

We're a little defeatist on here regarding Dortmund, which should be tempered a bit by their recent displays. They looked slick at the weekend before crumbling in the 2nd half.

They've played 21 and have a 15-5-1 record in the Bundesliga. We've won 20 from 26, so not exactly also-rans.

It might be simplistic, but it seems like they lack defensively, particularly lacking aggression in the air. Llorente might well start for that reason. Danny Rose, Trippier and Eriksen could be key to pressuring that central defensive area with good deliveries.

Seems like reus could be out. Massive miss for them if true.
