Gazzinga
KWP, Toby, Sanchez, Verts, Rose
Dier
Winks
Lamela, Eriksen
Moura

With 3 CD and Dier holding the 2 full backs can seriously attack and Winksy can also push further forward.
Should get decent work rate from the attacking 3
This is what I think is best as well. With Dier at DM in front of 3 in the back, hopefully they can get some counters going using Lucas's pace (if healthy). With the injuries, I really dont think Poch has a choice but to setup like this.

I would bet on Rose to try hard & get a corner or shot on goal than Lamela. Done with him
Talking out of your Ass. All players will be off form at one point or another. Where were you when he (and Moura) basically held us together for the 1st few months of the season when the others were off form? By your own warped logic you should have been done with them as well.

I'd like to see kwp play, even if further forward. Aurier would have to be behind.

It's really tough doing this without knowing who's available. I assume Dele is out and Lucas is back after what Pochettino said. This team should be able to maintain that diamond shape that Pochettino seems to want, and I can't see Llorente being any worse.

Lloris
KWP - Foyth - Alderweireld - Rose
Dier
Winks - Eriksen
Lamela
Lucas - Llorente

Gazzaniga - Vertonghen - Trippier - Whoever else is fit

We need to keep playing Llorente no matter what. We're going to be playing without Kane for at least two months, so we need to try to get Llorente in rhythm before the Dortmund games.

Not really. I just thought that because they're coming back from injury, it might be prudent to give them a rest and give Foyth another opportunity. Obviously, I wouldn't mind if any of our 4 CBs played, really.

You do know that's its half time in a cup Semi final where we have a one goal advantage don't you? I would be playing our best available players all day long.

This game will be about disrupting Chelsea and hopefully get away with a counter or two..

As poor as Llorente was yesterday we have to persist with him and play him in the hope he picks up a bit of match sharpness with a run of games.

Gazza
Toby Sanchez Jan
Aurier Dier Eriksen Rose
Lamela Moura
Llorente

Subs: Lloris, Foyth, Trippier, Davies, Winks, N'Koudou & Sterling

People will hate me for saying this but, given our dire situation with injuries, I'd be inclined to simply bin off the next two matches so that we can rest the remaining decent players we have, and recover a few of the walking wounded before Watford (10 days to recover).

We're not beating City in any cup final without our key players. It's so depressing to say that, but standing in the cold at Fulham yesterday watching us struggle to create a decent chance against a crap team really concerned me.

Then Alli went off injured, easily our biggest goal threat.

If we get another muscle injury in the Chelsea match or the FA Cup match at the weekend, we truly are screwed for the league and Champions League.

For our future, it's so important that we finish in the top 4 this season. If we get to a Carabao Cup final and an FA Cup Quarter Final it does absolutely nothing for the club, apart from just to put more strain on the most injury ravaged squad we've had in my time as a fan.

Of course, if the club had the intention to strengthen the squad I'd feel differently about this, but they clearly aren't going to do that.

Play N'Koudou and the Kids (sounds like a 90's alt-rock band).

It's a cup semi second leg, in which we are 1-0 up from the first leg. I don't care that Man City await in the final, anything can happen in that final. And think of the momentum we can take from beating Chelsea over two legs and preparing for the final. This is our best and quickest chance of getting silverware this season, so let's be brave and go for glory.
