Burnley are quite physical. I'd love to just start the same back four as Tonight. Sissoko a must for this game.

Davies and Foyth to start the NLD in the league Cup, plenty of rest time for the rest.

We all know Poch is gonna play a weakened team against Arsenal.

'sissoko is a must' now that's a sentence we all never thought of hearing six months ago ?

No reason he should. Arsenal have games on Thursday, Sunday and Wednesday. While we had/have Barca Tuesday, Burnley - Saturday and Arsenal - Wednesday game. Plenty of time to rotate and rest and still put out a competitive team on Wednesday.

I agree he shouldn't but he doesn't give a fuck about the Carabao Cup, regardless of who we're playing.

If it was any other team that we were up against, I'd agree with you. With the 4-2 loss still fresh in their memories, the players will be itching to get back at Arsenal.

League is more important than the carabao. Both Emery and Poch will field semi weakened teams mid week. I’d line Rose up to be the #1 LB now so this weekend will do that. I’d also give KWP another game even if Trippier and Aurier are back. Especially after Trippier got reinjured when he came straight back in. Better to be cautious. I’d also give Dele a rest here. Thought he worked his socks off tonight and put everything on the line. I think bringing on off the bench would be a prudent decision. Also i’d start Eriksen in the CM2 but have him more advanced so almost a 4141. We’ll have the bulk of possessian so better to have the 2 creators in the team here. Lucas and Son running at them from the wings while the fullbacks over lap.

Lloris
KWP Alderweireld Vertonghen Rose
Dier Eriksen
Lucas Lamela Son

Gazzaniga, Davies, Skipp, Sissoko, Winks, Dele, Llorente

Vs Arsenal
Gazzaniga
Aurier/Trippier Foyth Vertonghen Davies
Skipp Winks
Sissoko Dele Lucas
Llorente

Vorm, KWP, Rose, Dier, Eriksen, Lamela, Kane

Arsenal team is presuming Foyth and one of Trippier and Aurier are back.

Strongest team who are fit. Unless the top 6 are playing each other or Wolverhampton doesn't seem like anyone is gonna drop points

There is no way Poch is not playing a very strong team against Burnley. The league will be the priority but I expect a strong enough side with rotation against Arsenal.
