Gazza, Tripps, Davies, Dier, Winks, Sissoko, Son

I want to see Foyth in the centre now just to see what happens

Btw Thinktank, why don't you do 2 selections: (i) What you'd like and (ii) what you think the team will be?

Not really interested in guessing poch's selections. Dull.

Seems much more fun envisioning what we all think will be most effective for each game, then seeing what Poch does then imagine how our selections might have fared against his.

Much more valuable exploration - stimulates discussion and gets us to appreciate possible uses of the squad.

If I do two it'll only be the two poss, formations I'd entertain for a game.

Lamela must surely start this game. He and Moura are our best attacking players at the moment, so we need them playing together.

As for the rest, I'd assume we'll be unchanged from the Cardiff game, unless the injuries to Dele and Eriksen are not as bad as feared.

If Dele is back I'd drop Sonny. He seems really off the pace at the moment.

Can anyone tell me why West Ham Vs Spurs, a London derby, is a non televised 3pm game yet Huddersfield Vs. Liverpool is on TV as the late kick off?

If the times were switch where Liverpool played at 3pm and we late, then we would be televised, nothing personal against us

The whole world and his dog are Liverpool fans especially as they look like winning something with Klopp.
As for t.v. time I seem to remember that sky have shares in Liverpool and Arsenal and so have a vested interest.
I think you have to remember that these people running big companies including the f.a. have there own favourites and are unable to be unbiased as they ultimately have little or no real character .
This is why you get someone working at google linking a derogatory word to spurs.
This is why you get someone from the FA I repeat the FA saying about Kane being" in Man unt players pocket" but when spurs beat united not a twitter strange isn't it NOT
This is why sky pundits mostly Liverpool ;Arsenal;Man united ex players have an agenda that is to destabilise spurs as they are becoming too dangerous and threaten their monopoly .
Notice that they consistently at regular intervals come out with "Kane will go to Madrid if spurs don't win something this year"
"Poch will be Madrid manager sooner rather than later"
"They will not hold on to their players unless the pay them shitloads of money they don't have"
All of these things go to show that these people don't have the backbone and character to be in the position they are in because impartiality should be number one requirement .
Just to strengthen my argument today I heard Bellamy say he's a Liverpool fan if you don't like it tough.
Sven Goran erricsen "I am a Liverpool fan always have been "well good for them but where does all this leave us; in the football media where you expect integrity and impartiality .Dogs chance and no chance .I don't know how much longer I can look at Phil Thompson's smug face and Merson trying to make a joke out of not being able to pronounce someones name.

So you want Eriksen to play in a more advanced position than Moura ? Personally I think Moura is running out of gas and Kane would be more effective without him . But playing him on the left of a midfield 3 would make even less sense. Also Sanchez is not a left sided central defender. I think that’s a problem position in Jan’s absence which is why we might want to consider playing Davies there on the left side of a back 3. Unless Foyth could play there ( that’s a serious question not a piss take ) . Assuming Eriksen and Aurier are fit but Dembele and Dele are not.

Lloris
Sanchez Alderweireld Davies
Trippier Dier Wanyama Rose
Lamela Eriksen
Kane

Gazza Aurier Foyth Winks Moura Son Llorente

if you watched the WC you would of noticed Sanchez played the left side of him and Mina

you obviously haven't heard Bellamy discus Spurs then because he is nothing but complimentary and backs us.

the only way you won't get any bias via the media in the Prem is if you had pundit support teams from the 3rd and 4th tier.

I get your gripe about them mentioning about players leaving due to wages and lack of trophies, but other than Kane, they could well be right, Walker went to City for the wages and already got 2 trophies, why wouldn't the others.

Dont wanna see Wanyama in the team. I like him but he has turned into a fatty (I bet he is ripped as fuck though) but looks like a fatty, turning circle of the QE2 and at the moment he couldnt even pass wind let alone a ball.

I want us to hammer then (get it? hahahahahaha)

5-2 spurs.

I like Wanyama and have been championing him and Winks form midfield, but Dier scored in the last game and would be harsh to drop him after that.

Unless Foyth is available as NO-ONE should get in the way of his destiny as our greatest midfielder ever, natch.

This thread is pointless until probably this time next week when the pointless internationals have finished. The way our luck is going with injuries at the moment you wouldn’t bet against at least one of our players picking up another.

Also I’m not sure where the Brazil fixtures are being played but if Lucas doesn’t get back until Friday as usually happens to Brazilian internationals I doubt Poch will be selecting him.

Does anyone know if Son has gone away with South Korea?

I was sniggering to myself immaturely at work yesterday as typing it (especially sticking a lone Sissoko in there amongst all the Foyth-titans! ???).

Trippier has no business starting against City so Aurier starts this and vs City. Hopefully Eriksen, Dele and Rose are fit.
