Why does everyone want Wanyama to start? He hasn’t done enough to justify that lately and Dier was one of our better players against Man United IMO.

Lloris
Trippier Toby Jan Rose
Dier Dembele
Lamela Alli Eriksen
Kane

I know Kane hasn’t been great lately but we have a lot of time until next game. I hope and think he will get enough rest to get in form.
Agree re Dier v ManU but if we only had one DM in front of the defence id personally prefer it to be Wanyama given his work rate and all-round defensive ability.

The thing is Kane has said he feels sharp and he's raring to go and surely he deserves a bit more respect from us as a fanbase.

Don't get me wrong, he's not been very good since he returned from injury but I'd argue that we allowed him to play sooner than we should have, particularly considering our form whilst he was out. We certainly weren't struggling for goals and we should have just let him work his way back in slowly with sub appearances.

That said, he was very well marshalled in the Utd game and it was clear that part of Utd's gameplan was to swarm around him and remove him as a factor where possible.

The bottom line is that he can tear apart teams like Watford so Poch won't drop him.

It's been a rough couple weeks with losing to Juve, City and Utd and the draw with Brighton wasn't ideal either but it's not like we need to suddenly blow up what has been working for the 2nd half of the season.
Players will always want to play and say that they can so Kane saying that means nothing.

Well if it's all the same to you I'm willing to believe that Kane is an honest man with a great deal of integrity so if he says he feels sharp and ready to play then that's good enough for me.

One of my biggest issues with the way he's being ridiculed of late is that his integrity has been questioned and I can't abide that. If his own fans start doing the same then we're no better than the idiot rival fans that have mocked him over the past month.

I don't know what intensity we train at, but It may the case that that slight difference in intensity between games and training is enough to make Kane look anything but sharp (in games) even though he feels he is (from training)

If he's fit, KWP ought to get a shot at RB. MOTM against Newcastle at the start of the season, then vanishes without trace. Please Poch, for crying out loud, he can't be worse than the 2 in front of him.

If Rose is fit I'd start him all the remaining games bar the mid week Newcastle one. If he's staying we need him back in form for next season which requires game time, if we want him gone then he needs game time to show his quality and get fit/form to have a good World Cup.

Lloris
Aurier Sanchez Vertonghen Rose
Dier
Eriksen Dele
Lucas Kane Son
Vorm, Davies, KWP, Wanyama, Dembele, Lamela, Sterling

Prior to Saturday I would've said that he'll be waiting longer for that than us winning a trophy.
It is a worry when he's on a yellow but only then (IMO)

I am still waiting for an Apology from KFC for that time when I drove ten whole minutes to pick up my bargain bucket that I specified as breast and wings only but got home to find only legs

I assume Lamela will have been sent off ten times and Spurs won the Champions league twice before that happens...

Usually I’d agree with their CL commitments but I just can’t see us winning the last four given our current form.

Sports are sometimes just a matter of luck. Just a right bounce of the ball for us, or the ref making a decision in our favour will change everything. All we have to do is to do our utmost and keep trying; then something good is bound to happen.

Likely the same again just with lloris and maybe aurier

I'd go:

---------------------hugo boss

Aurier---vertonghen---dier-----davies

-------------eriksen---wanyama
---------------------dele
------lamela------------------lucas
-------------------kane

Hard on son making it a struggle to pick Kane. Honestly he hasn't been that great since juve away , the injury has just made his all round play and form even worse. But id still just about play him, hoping he offers more after another full week of training than the smoke and mirrors show of late

Sometimes you gotta be ruthless,no fucks given by mourhino in giving pogba or Lukaku kicks up the ass
