Eriksen for Lamela if he’s decided to bring his arm and leg back to London from Madrid. If he still has them there like be did yesterday, he’s dropped.

People not starting Son are crazy- it's his last game here for a month or so and he'll want to leave on a high.
I also want Lamela to come on at about an hour as he'll cause them problems late on. COYS

I’m tempted to start Lamela ahead of Eriksen for he’s work rate however I reckon this combination has goals. We are going to need good changes from the bench tho

Yes drop our captain for one of our biggest games of the season. No way. I know Hugo hasn’t been at his absolute best this season but he is our chosen leader and needs respect,

Maybe refresh by bringing in Lamela for Winks? , and dropping Eriksen or Dele back alongside Sissoko. Probably Eriksen.

You don’t think tha’s too attacking bud?

Possibly leaves us a bit light weight in the middle, but if he's disciplined enough don't see why it wouldnt work.

And it would allow a fresh lamela to come in and help out with our press, something he certainly excels at.

I'd be tempted to do that for sure.

I'd have Dele there. Excelled on Tuesday night v Chelsea.

He did, but we were backs to the wall then. I think if we're looking for more control of the game Eriksen is the better choice.

In fact Eriksen drops deeper a lot when we're trying to manage and control games when seeing them out.

Seems to me like Dele is much better there as he can actually tackle. When he dropped back against Chelsea we started to stop their momentum and in recent games he has shown he has that part to his game when we need it

It seems like accumulated fatigue. Just a bit worried that United will be rested, and they have nothing to lose in this match really. They can play with freedom, and we need to be aggressive to force them back into their shell.

When you're on a good run
a break can throw you off course.
and break the concentration
Sunburn, fatty foods
and other distractions
could ruin their focus.
Just saying.

Amuses me whenever this stuff gets brought up. They're travelling in a private plane with the best facilities money can buy.

Then they'll have 48 hours to themselves before they have to get up and play a game of football. Oh what a struggle!

Still a disruption to routine imo. Otherwise why does everyone pinpoint Thurs/Sunday Europa as such an issue. They fly back today plus a 4 hour time difference will mess your body up in regards to training onFriday. They then have to travel on Saturday. Personally I don’t see that as ideal preparation. Added in going from 30c heat to near on 0c. Will likely benefit them in long run but I think it could have an effect on Sunday. On the other hand I could be talking utter nonsense.

He did really well, but the context of the game was different, as we were struggling for possession.

I'd start with Eriksen there, and see if we can dominate control the game first, and then adapt if needs be.

I’m hoping that Rose is fit to play. Had a good game against Chelski but he was showing signs of a hamstring injury at the end.
It bugs me that whenever Rose has a good period of play, he tends to get injuries..
