Needs a rest and the premier league has to be absolutely the priority with our recent results

No need for a break now. We'll have close to 13 days off after the Southampton game to help the players rest and hopefully get Dele & Dier back. Poch said he'll take the players on warm weather training, so hopefully that time together will help them refocus.

It looks like Poch will field our A team tomorrow regardless. He's just said it's a must win and will expect players to play as if it's still 0-0. Anyways we need to go 1-0 up as early as possible to put our minds at ease. I just wonder if Dier will play tomorrow. He's now in Dortmund with the rest of the team.

Harsh, but probably fair. He's been fairly anonymous these past few weeks. I have the feeling his game has been missing Dele. When these two play together, it seems to bring both alive and this has a very positive effect on Sonny and Harry too.

Never really understood the "playing like it's 0-0" statement. BVB won't be playing like it's 0-0, and I wouldn't expect us to.

Mixed feelings about this one. I would let Dier go get match fitness and keep Winks and Dele back at HQ. We already know Kane is going and Tripps/Rose will probably follow suit and link up with the NT.

I think this is the sort of game where a back 3 and hitting on the counter will snatch us a goal or two. With that in mind, I’d go with (baring in mind recent injuries)

Or it could provide them with some much needed match practice. Let’s face it even international qualifiers and nothing more than glorified friendlies played at snails pace so I’m all for them selecting Dele and Dier but would much prefer them to rest Kane and Rose.
