Brighton

Foyth - Toby - Verts
Trippier - Skipp - Alli - Rose
Son - Llorente - Lucas

Wham

KWP-Sanchez - Toby - Davies
Wanyama - Sissoko
Alli - Eriksen -Lamela (if fit)
Son

Something like this. We're gonna need a fresh Lucas, Llorente and Eriksen for the first leg against Ajax without Kane and Son available. Eriksen have played 4x90 minutes over the last 10 days.

Lucas---Alli--Son----Eriksen
--------------Llorente-----------

4141. We are at home, confident lets attack, attack, attack! We need to fly out of the traps and get an early goal or 2. Look to rest son and eriksen from around 60mins if possible.

I really like that lineup.

Looked like they had a couple of players coming off with injuries today. They also have Knockaert suspended
That is significant as he is their most creative player imo. Played very well against city.

They will sit deep, we will need to find a way through. Unless we score early it will be a tough game.

New stadium factor could be huge.

Lloris
Foyth Alder Sanchez Rose
Wanyama Winks*
Moura Eriksen Son
Llorente

If no Winks then Dier
Subs: Gaza, Trippier, Vert, Davies, Dier, Dele, Sissoko?

Trying to give a couple of players rest whilst giving others some minutes where they can get match fit to contribute.

* if fit, Sissoko in the centre with Dele out wide and Lucas on the bench, Walker-Peters out.
** if Lamela also fit, on the bench in place of Skipp.

Do we really need Toby and Yan for this game?
Lloris/Gazza
KWP Foyth Sanchez Davies
Wanyama Skipp
Moura Dele Son
Llorente

Eriksen on the bench with Alderwiereld, Vertonghen and Dier.

Brighton are going to play for a clean sheet and not spend much time in our half.

Rotation needed. They’ll sit back so push fullbacks up high to stretch play and cross for Llorente - Alli. 3CBs facilitate wingbacks but also v comfortable on ball to come out if not pressed. Dier’s sole job is to prevent counter attacks
