Team v Bournemouth

No need to rest players with 3/4 games remaining of the season. Needs to be strongest 11 possible, then the medical staff needs to take care of the players the best way. Bournemouth are a decent side, and we need the win badly.

I can Bournemouth have a lot of resolve they will be up for this game if we go in thinking it will be a cake walk we will end up regretting it
Do you really think we are that poor that we can't beat Bournemouth though?

No I dont think we are that poor but we cant go in thinking we will stroll past them. They have speed and a quality striker(Wilson) and if they sit back and try counter us we have shown in the last 2 games Brighton and West Ham we are having trouble breaking teams down.

This game might actually benefit from a back 3 if they go with Wilson and King.

Clinch top four this weekend then focus on hammering Ajax then rest the fuck out of everyone so we can hammer barca in the final...

I'd rest Sissoko and bring him off the bench if needed. He's so key to our success that we will need him to be firing on all cylinders against Ajax to stand a chance of turning them over - particularly as he's only just recovered from injury and wasn't deemed ready to start the game against Ajax.

Bournemouth are a poor side; their last 6 matches going backwards have been DLWLLD.

Although they comprehensively beat Brighton and Huddersfield away from home, they haven't won a match at home since 30 Jan (the win over Chelsea).

I'd hope that Dier, Foyth, Sanchez, Wanyama, Llorente, Davies and the likes of Moura and Alli can help see us through.

We're not poor but we're depleted by injuries, a bit knackered and somewhat lacking confidence. On top of that our away form isn't too hot currently. 5 defeats in the last 5 league away games, albeit two of those were against Liverpool and City.

Full strength team this weekend, get the win and on to Ajax with a spring in our step. If however we turn up like we did in the games away to Burnley and Southampton we'll struggle.

Stating the obvious but even writing this starting 11 had me realising how limited we are outside first 11.
Llrois
Tripps Toby Dier Davies
Wanyama Sissoko
Eriksen
Moura Ali
Son
Subs: Llronte, Foyth, Gazza, KWP, Rose, Sanchez

I dont ever want to see Trippier in a spurs shirt again. We have other options - two you've put on your bench

Get 3 points here and as well as seeing out the top 4 challenge I think it would be a massive boost moving into the tie with the only focus being on hat game. As good as Ajax were we were shocking in the first half. If we can get Dier and Winks back in midfield with Son as well and hopefully a more tuned in Eriksen we certainly have a chance.

If Fulham can win there recently, we can.

Yep,

They have a great attacking quartet in King, Brooks, Wilson and Fraser however their back 4 is marred by injuries.

Their usual back 4 is Smith, Cook, Ake and Daniels. Earlier in the season Daniels was Injured so Smith played Left back and Francis came in at rb though he is usually a CB. They signed Clyne to fill in at RB, However now Daniels is out for season, Smith is also out for season. So Ake has now had to go out to LB but Francis is also injured and Clyne is also a doubt.

So they're missing their first choice fullbacks, one of their main CB's is having to fill in at fullback whilst their main backup CB is out injured and the backup RB is a doubt. I'm pretty confident we can get a result as they're having a torrid time injury wise in defence.

Winks is having an operation, so we won't see him back anytime soon.

It's a shame as we need a player who can move the ball in cm at the moment, and Dele and Eriksen haven't been able to put in a performance there.

I said as much about Kane and it got poo-poo'd by some wise sage who reckoned you worked harder getting fit. Honestly

And given that Kane has had nearly three months off from playing this season which constitutes a couple of decent spells sat on his arse, you STILL get people saying he needs resting in the summer.

Does he fuck.

There's a lot of micro worrying goes on here on SC :D
Micro Worrying could be the new signing we've all been waiting for..... If he's any good snap him up quickly before Man City show their hand.
