Poch will rotate the full backs so there's no point in selecting Trippier and Davies, who I think would of been better suited for this game with Walker and Rose better suited for West Ham away. Think Son will come back in with Lamela on the bench as he missed the last few and his pressing will be critical for West Ham IMO. Also assuming Dembele won't be back until next weekend.

Anyway:

Lloris

Walker
Toby
Wimmer
Rose

Dier
Mason

Son
Alli
Eriksen

Kane

Subs: Vorm, Trippier, Davies, Bentaleb, Onomah, Lamela, Chadli

Knowing Poch will rotate the full backs...

Lloris
Walker Alderweireld Wimmer Rose
Dier Mason
Lamela Alli Eriksen
Kane

Vorm, Trippier, Davies, Bentaleb, Onomah, Chadli, Son

I dont want to push Mason too hard as he's just getting back to full fitness after a long layoff so I might be tempted to start Son on the right with Lamela as the 10 moving Alli back next to Dier.

Lamela has to regain his place in the league for me. He's rounding back into form, and will still be fresh since his 9' vs City and starting today were his only game time in 3 weeks. Son has been inconsistent all year and hasnt been his recently. However, Poch will probably start Son though since he didnt play today.

Actually wouldn't surprise me if Alli was on the bench for this - given the week we have ahead and the fact he played all three of the Cup games.

Big week next week, personally I would keep Lamela in as I would like to save him for Arsenal. Play Rose and Walker so we can rest them against the Spammers.

Difficult to say without the knowledge of the players' fitness and freshness
If everyone except those we know are out with injury are ready, then:

Lloris (c)
Walker - Alderweireld - Wimmer - Rose
Mason - Dier
Lamela - Alli - Eriksen
Kane

subs.
Vorm, Trippier, Davies, Bentaleb, Onomah, Chadli, Son

So you would have selected Trippier and Davies for the Arsenal game?

Kane out today has been a blessing. All of the team have had rest time recently and players like Alli and Lamela are young and fit enough to play and play. Time think we could go top this weekend. What a season this could turn out to be.

I'd rather we switched it and had Trippier and Rose against Arsenal, I think they would pin Arsenal back better than Davies or Walker would

It allows Arsenal to break but I think their counters are more technical rather than full of pace, Tripper and Rose can get back OK

Knowing that's not what's going to happen though, my team for Swansea is

Lloris
Walker Toby Kevin Rose
Dier Dembele
Lamela Mason Eriksen
Kane
I'd rest Alli and play him against West Ham and Arsenal as he played the last 3 and will be missing the European game afterwards anyway, 5 out of 7 games is a good amount for him

Maybe i'm over excited but i'd say on tonights evidence we could rest Kane and go

Lloris
Walker Alder Vert Rose
Dier Mason
Lamela Eriksen Son
Chadli

Rest Alli and Kane for west ham and arsenal and bring them on if need be.

I rate fiorentina over swansea at the moment but honestly I'm looking at this myself and considering it mental.

Son will start against Swansea, I guarantee it, and Lamela will start against West Ham. Arsenal is a more difficult call.

Horses and courses. Lamela against a team that will come and sit back is of no use at all, we've seen it countless times. Son is preferable because of his superior shooting ability, but Lamela's pressing and work rate is better and more needed against West Ham.

I'd feel we'd have enough to beat Swansea without Kane TBH

Judging on the last few matches Sons shooting has been off and Lamela was on target tonight.

same team, but after noticing the Walker, Rose partnership at Man City, could see Poch using these 2 that also performed very well at the library (even if I was unhappy that Walker was too narrow with the equaliser).

I do wonder if Poch might take into account Diers yellow cards, and worry a bit more knowing he will want Dier there v Arsenal. if Dier picked up a yellow v Swansea, he will be stepping on egg shells v Wet Spam, and I know no Premier League is as bad as that 1 tonight, but we need Dier more in the 2 Derby matches than we do v Swansea, so going to change my decision and go

Lloris

Walker
Toby
Wimmer
Rose

Alli/Bentaleb
Mason

Son
Eriksen
Chadli

Kane
