Walker will start even if Trippier does deserve to. I can't remember the last time Poch played the same fullbacks (barring injury) when we had 2 games in 3 days.

Think it will be as in the OK but not sure if it will be Son or Chadli starting. Both been in decent form of late which is a good thing.

Eriksen looked good today and has been also playing well. The midfield have really stepped up overall this season tbh.

Chadli deserves a start but not on the right surely.

Another way to go could be:

Dier
Alli

Dembele
Eriksen
Chadli

Kane

I think it doesn't really matter if his starting position is on the right on the team sheet as they all pretty much play centrally anyway. His first goal today came in the inside right position.

Yeah that's true but off the ball they do kind of slot into a default shape.

But that aside Chadli has done very well of late and is certainly deserving of a start.

Yeah, our position rotation has been steadily improving for a while now. Good to see.

Lloris (c)
Walker - Alderweireld - Wimmer - Rose
Alli - Dier
Son - Dembele - Eriksen
Kane

subs.
Vorm, Trippier, Davies, Bentaleb, Onomah, Lamela, Chadli

Much of the same as in the opening post.
However, Im sure there'll be full rotation on the full backs.

Makes the whole notion of 'striker' more complex...
We play with an attacking 4, but we need the player who's at point to kick off the pressing, rotate and also offer a quick outlet for swift counters. And it also helps if they are a true goal-getter.

Lloris

Walker
Toby
Wimmer
Rose

Dier
Dembele

Alli
Son
Eriksen

Kane...

Dier really needs a rest i feel and Kane too, if this game was weds or thurs id swap out Dier for Bentaleb he needs to get fitness and games.

Lloris

Trippier Toby Rimmer Rose

Dier Alli

Lamela Dembele Eriksen

Kane

Goals aside, Alli and Lamela (Eriksen until very recent) have not been up to their usual high standard but I wouldl persevere with them for this match.

Chadli has been in devastating form.

Like pre father's death form against Chelsea.

That is a hard player to sit against goal-leaking Norwich

I think he will play Lamela for Son but otherwise agree

Yep. Point taken. But could this be altered, adapted, nuanced?
