I'm happy and excited about the prospect of Spurs signing an excellent player in a position that we desperately need to strengthen in, but then you're here reminding me about a time in the past when we seemingly did the same thing only for it to go more wrong than BBLG being happier about signing Jack Clarke than Tanguy Ndombele.

Genuinely think it's a remarkable opinion to hold - hence I remarked on it, for the lulz - but I will tip my hat to your foresight if you turn out to be right. I just hope Clarke turns out half as good as I think he will because even that will be enough to validate my optimism
I often thought of myself as the next Didier Zokora, in the sense that I can't shoot, can't pass and can't tackle. Still can't work out why my career as a footballer never took off...
