Ideally if you play 2 from Winks, Sissoko and Ndombele we wouldn't need a specialist DM. All 3 can defend and attack so just need some in game management for it to work.
What a wonderful trio to rotate in a two man central midfield. Chuck in Swiss Financial Experts Sander Berge and we’re laughing

If he’s Poch’s number one target I think it’s worth over paying for him ( within reason ) like at the time everyone thought Pool did with VVD and Allison. Get it done early and not haggle for the odd million here and there.

EXACTLY what we need in cm. The transitions with him and sissoko would be insane. Bring back the high pressing too.

Him and grealish are the 2 I want the most. Him and sissoko would be like rampaging monsters in the middle.

Agent fees, high wages, the lot. Not only to secure his signing but to show a statement of intent, that Spurs aren't fucking about anymore.

Aren't man city favourites for him

Apparently he’s on their radar. It’s probably a case of waiting until they sign Rodri to see if it then frees up N’Dombele to us. People will be saying Levy is dragging it out but this is the realities of targeting high level players when you’re not top of the tree. It can take time.

Ndombele to City makes no sense, at least not as a Fernandinho replacement. He’s not that kind of player at all. If he joined he’d be competing with KDB and the Silvas. Maybe replacing Gundogan in the squad - is that the kind of role he’s wanting to play? I doubt it.

I think Juve and PSG are the competition.

I guess our chance is that he will be guaranteed to play. And there is the euros 2020 coming up, and he wants to make the french squad,

If he reaches his full potential, he'll be Mousa Dembele with far superior vision and passing - in other words, the best midfielder in the world (apart from De Jong who could be an all-time great).

I am eagerly waiting to hear from all those people from the last transfer window who were saying we shouldn't be signing any french players whose surnames began with N.
