[EXCLUSIVE Telefoot 19/05] - Tottenham on pole for Ndombélé

According to information from Telefoot, Tottenham is currently the club best positioned to recover Tanguy Ndombélé next season. PSG and Juventus are also following the issue closely.
The soap opera Tanguy Ndombélé continues. Pie in France, but also by many foreign clubs, the midfielder of Olympique Lyonnais will be the subject of a fight at all times during the next summer transfer window. The latter has not chosen his future destination, but he seems excited by the challenge proposed by the Spurs.
According to information from Telefoot, the most assiduous club on the record is Tottenham.
On the Lyon track since last season, the London club has already sent offers to recover the player.
After two windows of mercato - summer 2018 and January 2019 - without arrival, a direct result of the construction of its new stadium, now operational, the finalist of the Champions League will return to the forefront in the transfer market. Mauricio Pochettino, the technician Spurs, he, the player in high regard.

PSG and Juventus follow the record closely
Tottenham is obviously not the only big European club to track Tanguy Ndombélé. Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are also following the issue closely. Both clubs maintain contact with the player's entourage.
Asked about the possible departure of the French international, Jean-Michel Aulas sent a foot call to the club of the capital. " I'm in negotiations with the biggest clubs in Europe and I started PSG myself to tell them that if he wanted to make sure that he did not feel discarded on players of such talent, he had to If they agree to align with the two or three proposals already received and Tanguy chooses them, we will not oppose. "

Aulas: "PSG can make alternative proposals to major European clubs"
The Lyon president, who insisted that OL did not need to sell, added about the Paris track. " On the contrary, it would be good even if it goes to PSG.The most talented French players must be in the strongest French clubs. The PSG, Marseille, Lyon, Saint-Etienne or Rennes must make common cause and create an ecosystem at the service of French football , "he suggested.
Before putting the last layer. " It would be my greatest desire, the PSG is the one who has the most means and can make alternative proposals to major European clubs. It would gain a lot to use more French clubs in its acquisitions.PGG money would be used to French clubs like I did a few years ago . "
That’s it I’m all in for this now and I’m fully ready to have any heart shattered into pieces

Is this guy really that good? Everything about him seems very average? I have very little knowledge of the French league but from the small sample size I have seen he just seems meh...

I guess if this guy is number 1 on Poch's list then who am I to question him but he just seems underwhelming from the little I've seen.

This definitely seems like it’s a goer. Seems we are getting in early and he’s obviously the one we covet most.

Clearly we were in for him last summer, and when Lyon wouldn’t sell, or the player wanted another year in France, we decided to wait 12 months to secure the player we want rather than just going for a lesser back up option last summer. I suppose when it comes to spending 60 million or so, it’s best to wait 12 months to get the one you want, rather than wasting half of it on someone else.

In hindsight it explains our zero signings last summer.

Watch him play against City. Barca, PSG he can play against any of the best midfields in europe and he would instantly upgrade ours.

Whenever we move early for players it's because we know dragging it out leaves us little chance of getting the player.

I think we've a great chance as well. The Poch factor, new stadium and making the CL final could swing this our way.

Never has our image been this exciting.

Nah he’s not that great, the reason why some of the best teams in Europe are after him just to boost his morale a bit

Next on my list because performances against French clubs left me unconvinced.

Ndombele would definitely improve us.
He's a powerful unit with skill & a deft touch for a big man.
I really like how he can drive forward with pace but more importantly he's also unselfish.
If he sees a teammate in a better position, he will get them the ball early & rush to support.

He plays with intensity & is a fairly good tackler who anticipates well.

As for the criticism of "loafing around"?
I can't disagree with this
He can tend to do so in a Yaya Toure sense if the ball isn't near him.

Poch will also improve his skill set & field sense.
I'm certain that with Poch's persuasion & Ndombele witnessing first hand how the rest of the team puts in its maximum effort that he'll buy in to it.

I've done some digging, and from what I can see, Telefoot were the first to report we were discussing the signing of Aurier with PSG. Other outlets had reported interest, but they were the first to say we'd entered discussions.
At this point I have little doubt we’ve had discussions with Lyon and the player.

Let's be realistic. If the best teams in Europe were seriously after him we'd have no chance of signing him.

If it's true that he is interested in Spurs project then yes.
