The whole thing stinks. Especially the idea that our supposed contract offer is better financially than the supposed offer submitted by Juve. On what planet would that happen. Sounds like an agent and a club president both trying desperately to get crazy money from City or PSG

But then, do any of us ever truly have 100% control of the ball? In one sense, yes. And in another sense, no. And in yet another sense, maybe.

It's one of those centuries-old questions that even Socrates couldn't answer.

Personally, ever since I got past my mid twenties, I have had perfect control over my balls.

On a planet where they're paying Ramsey 400k a week and Ronaldo near double that, they don't have the money for insane wages or Ndombele AND the transfer fee.

Not saying we do either, but that Juve are digging themselves a bit of a whole with these wage deals they're offering.

Aulas drives a hard bargain but he may actually be a bit wacko. Either he really doesn't want to sell us Ndombele for [whatever reason is rattling around in his noggin] and has convinced himself that he is doing Ndombele a favor by shopping him around to other teams, or Levy is doing the Levy hard negotiation and Aulas's counter is to just straight up offer the player to other teams in his own league he believes will out bid us.

If he's having to entice PSG back in I'm guessing they might lack conviction when it comes to the crunch. Certainly something we can play on.

Aulas is trying to auction to the highest bidder while the clubs try and get the player to choose.

Does annoy me how these opposing chairmen in these one team domestic leagues (france, italy and to a lesser extent Germany) seem so relaxed about losing players to the top teams though. Do they even care about trying to close the gap?

You'd think the Lyon chairman would not want one of his best players to go and fix PSGs big weakness.

Levy gets stick for selling players to Utd in the fergie era but at least you could see he clearly hated it.

PSV chairman responded to claims Ajax were after their star man by saying he'd spend his whole transfer budget on Lucas Moura if it happened. That's the spirit!

We're up against literally the only chairman more shameless than Levy. Couldn't write it. :ROFLMAO:

Is Aulas the bloke that released a statement saying Lloris would never leave and then sold him a week later?? The man brings his A game to negotiations.

I think he's either trying to incite a bidding war to push the price up or he's got an axe to grind against Levy stemming from the Lloris transfer.

Levy v Aulas negotiations will be one of the Biggest cock swinging contests in football. Neither will be able to help themselves trying get one over on each other

Honestly not bothered at all by Aulas’ shit stirring.

If anything, it confirms two things:

1. We are most certainly active in trying to sign him, and
2. Aulas is shitting himself over the lack of interest from other top clubs.

It certainly looks like were one of the clubs in the driving seat but all comes down to what Ndombele wants.

Hopefully we have enticed him enough and judging by the reports looks like weve offered him a great contract! The vision at Spurs is for all to see so im certain he would relish the opportunity and it helps having the world cup winner in captain Hugo and compatriot Moussa to ease him in.

This would truly be THE most important signing we will make moving forward in becoming a real giant.

Tbh even being this close to a player that is very much wanted by all the top clubs is a great testament to Poch and how far his taken us. I would be absolutely gutted if we miss out but i have full faith in Poch getting at least 2-3 players he really wants.
