Also I'm choosing to believe that the image although edited is real and someone in our media team has been asked to create it in preparation for the real one. They wanted to check how his hairline and skin tone complimented the font placement. When he comes in he will be forced in to that exact position as it works wonderfully. Done deal.

I dont get people who have the time to fake shit like that just to mess with people. Go do something useful with your lives
It's almost as bad as the folks that overreact on the match threads saying "this guy sucks" and "poch out"...

Any true Spurs fan is anxious and worried that we won't sign him and that if we do he might turn out to be shit in equal measures.

I can’t speak for anyone else, but this is the exact opposite of what I believe. Try introducing some positivity into your daily routine, it works wonders ?

Their problem is that they will have to go very big to take him away from us now as we are no longer pissing about with mid table offers and I'm not sure they'll want to go that high for what will be a second choice.

Seems like you’ve convinced yourself he is ours. I wish I could share the same optimism.

If their first choice is more expensive, it’s all relative how much he’d cost as a plan B.

As of yet apparently we haven’t agreed anything with the club so we can easily get gazumped. Aulas will auction for as long as possible to get more money - fair play to him.

We can’t close the deal if Lyon are waiting to see if they get a higher offer though can we?

We can not close a deal only because we are not meeting their valuation. As far as I am aware it’s not a closed bidding process where we have to just sit and wait.

Oh my God, it's official....

Been there, done that, got slightly excited, realised it was fake, got annoyed, blah blah blah

It can be for variety of reasons. The original point is if Lyon want to keep us waiting they can. It’s their player at the end of the day.

There is growing confidence that Tottenham Hotspur's pursuit of Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele will end successfully with a club record deal.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino asked that the 22-year-old was the club's number one target this summer and while the Argentine rests up with his family on the island of Formentera in the Mediterranean Sea after a tough season, his chairman Daniel Levy has been negotiating with the French club trying to land his man.

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas said on Tuesday that no bid had yet met his expectations for Ndombeleand while there are still plenty of talks to be had, football.london understands that there is a growing confidence from all parties that a deal will be struck for the central midfielder.
