Calling the FA ‘white bastards’? She does have form. Stay classy.
Yeah, nah, it was something about not having faith in them. I wasn't paying the racist cow much attention as I had an itchy arse at the time.

Cannot Effin wait now to take my 5 yr old son. We are both new ST holders this season but I’ve held off taking him to that soul less pit in Wembley. As the season has gone he has got more and more into watching spurs.

Just today he was on kids you tube watching highlights of the Carabao cup game vs Watford from this season.

I heard him shouting and cheering so went to check on him and he was like “dad, dad, it’s gone to penalties, I can’t believe it. I hope we win”

He is now begging me to take him - happy days ?

The OP won’t appreciate it but I went to my first Spurs game in 1961 as a 5 year old with my grandad and loved it. Still one of the highlights for me. He’ll love it too.

Imo 2 yrs is a wee bit young. 6-7 yrs is OK as the child most probably learnt to kick a ball and seen a couple of games on the telly
Just bare in mind the noise and chants: bring earmuffs

My 1 year old daughter tackled my 4 year old daughter yesterday. Got herself between her sister and the ball and shielded it. So proud. Way past learning to kick it!

This Sophie Jones seems quite convinced she didn't do it, claiming to have numerous witnesses to back that up.
It doesn't seem as clean cut as people are making out to me.

I would be utterly mortified if some one accused me of something like that out of spite.

**I am not saying it didn't happen. Only that it sounds as though there is a small chance, however tiny, that it didn't.

Did the witnesses testify? I’d certainly make sure they were heard if I was about to be judged a racist. It’s either plead innocent or be labelled a racist for the rest of your life. Like Mike Dean, she knows what she is. Unlike Mike Dean, she’s been hammered for it.

Jones, who was also fined £200 and ordered to attend an FA inclusion and diversity workshop, insisted she was “not guilty” and had instead been the victim of a “kangaroo court” set up by the FA.

“It is with a heavy heart that I am unable to continue within football and play under an organisation that I do not have any confidence in,” she said. “I am struggling to come to terms with this decision. The FA ‘independent’ panel received more than 10 other witness statements from players in the vicinity including Tottenham players. Also all the match officials confirmed they did not hear any racial abuse and or comments made.

The 27-year-old also accused the FA of ignoring video evidence and claimed two witness statements from Tottenham players had “continuously contradicted each other”. She said she did not condone racism in any form.

If all this actually took place as she says, then I would she's been convicted by emotions rather than facts and evidence.

If there's even a 1% chance though...unless her names Martha.

I've gone really off topic.
1% is hardly reasonable doubt. A verdict had to be made. If she was innocent then why exactly was the accusation made? It was in a competitive environment, things get said. It’s far more likely she said something than Hector made something up out of nothing on the spot.

I'm assuming my joke reference to Batman Vs Superman was missed.

How is that not an offense? The ref should've awarded the 4 year old a free kick

Yeah it is all a bit odd. Obviously if she did say something then she should have the book thrown at her, but it sounds like it's very much just her word against the Spurs player's word given that nobody else has seen or heard anything of the sort. As Dougal says above common sense means she probably did say something because it seems pretty unlikely that the Spurs player would just make it up out of thin air as part of some kind of twisted vendetta, but it doesn't necessarily sit right with me that someone has basically lost their career without there been any kind of real evidence. I'm firmly a believer in the innocent until proven guilty mentality with these things so if this woman has not previous for this kind of thing then I don't think it sounds like there's enough evidence to have done what the FA have done.

Took mine at about 4 for their first games...sadly the two girls couldn't really give a toss but my son (the youngest and now 7 is obsessed with it) I said yesterday when we were walking back to the car after the U18 match that when he is older we could get the train and have a few beers together...he said I wont be able to drink Dad I'll be playing....gotta love the confidence

In this day and age, this kind of behaviour seems worryingly normal.

Had a brief chat at the stadium yesterday with a chap who had a 1 year old and another just under 2 with him.
They looked happy enough but only 30k yesterday.
There's no changing facilities and you're stuffed floor bringing in a change bag. I'll wait until she's 5 or 6 I think. A lot of stairs up to level 5 too.
