It makes absolutely no sense to let him go for £8M. We sold Pritchard to a lower division team for that amount. Yet Mason offered EPL experience that Pritchard can only dream of. Anything lower than £12M is a give-away.

It is really odd for Baldy to be that generous. Even the Chadli fee is below market rate these days. Is he experiencing difficulty in raising funds for the stadium?:)

Skysports saying sunderland are set to miss out as mason close to joining hull.
Lets hope Hull are willing to pay more money for him,as i think hes worth nearer 12 mil in todays market.

Sad to see him go but i feel if we want to move up another level we need better players than him.....but wish him the best.

Genuinely sorry to see him leave, and I'd happily shake him by the hand and welcome him back whenever he's in the neighbourhood.

Class lad, tons of application and attitude. His substitution and subsequent goal against Forest in the League Cup arguably kick started the Poch revolution... the first player to truly buy into our new coach's new vision and style, at a time when the likes of Kaboul and Adebayor held the captaincies and were causing trouble.

He's clearly been surpassed in midfield by the likes of Alli and Dembele, but I would always have a place for him in the squad. I bet Pochettino is sad to see him go as well.

(Apols for dodgy music)

Cheers Ryan!

There was a time when some thought he may not even make it as a footballer due to his injury record.

He's exceeded expectations just purely in that respect.

Yes if it wasn't for injuries who knows how well he'd have progressed. He's had more than his fair share. Good luck to him wherever he ends up except against us.

I don't understand this.
Well, Hull have given us money so that Ryan Mason represents transfers to them. There are a few more details but for the sake of not complicating matters that's it in a nutshell.
