Jay Rodriguez - had several serious injuries, nearly 29, 7 goals in 33 for WBA, no thanks.

Ben Foster - 35, yes 35 years old. We should be going after a youngster or someone sub 25ish whom has the quality and potential to become Lloris’ long term replacement.

yeah, i mentioned him a month or so ago, good to see spurs taking a look at one of my recommendations.

lots of energy, dynamic, breaks the lines with and without the ball and puts in a lot out of possession. the natural comparison is naby keita but of course he's still young so not quite there yet but he has a lot to work with.

He's been fantastic in Salzburgs run to EL semi finals. Looks an incredible prospect and perfect Poch player however I'd be amazed if he doesn't simply move to the other red bull team to replace Keita.

Might Red Bull avoid direct transfers of good players between their teams to avoid backlash and scrutiny etc?

Hasn't been the case last few years and more, Naby Keita himself moved from Salzburg to Liepzig couple of years ago. Salzburg are partially a development team of sorts for Liepzig. The select best ones move to Liepzig and if are good enough in Bundesliga too they get sold on for a tonne of money like Keita. Salzburg, Liepzig, NY, Brazil are all just under same umbrella.

I though Red Bull sold their stake in Salzburg recently?

Nah , they are still as much Red Bull as you can get - RB Boss Mateschitz were there when they beat Lazio and celebrated with the team in the locker room afterwards ...

And shipping the players that are deemed too good for austrian Bundesliga off to Leipzig is their business modell. That's a reason why they get many sought after talents (Mane, Keita, Upamecano,....) They know they have an easy route into German Bundesliga - otherwise no one would like to play in austria

They are obviously not reliant on big fee sales, so it would need an over the odds offer like Liverpool did for Keita to get a player they wouldn't want to lose. Don't underestimate Salzburg in the EL - they've won and draw against Marseille in the group stage, and i think a big part is their coach Marco Rose, who will propably move to Germany soon (guess) and of course some bright talents who will follow in Keita, Mane footsteps

Back to topic - Haidara is one of them - imo he's a bit better than Samassekou , would describe Haidara as similar to Diawara, but maybe he will need to bulk up physically to compete in the PL, ability wise it could turn out to be a good shout

Outside of Sess. I'd like

World at his feet.

This young man could be anything he wants to be and personally over any other name linked with Spurs in the last 12 - 18 months, I'd like him over anyone to be one of Spurs signings this summer.

I wonder if we’re still after both Sessegnon’s... given we don’t want to lose KWP it wouldn’t make sense to also sign Zeze as isn’t he a right back too?
