That's not his game, what a shit argument.

So what is his game, if it's not to help breakdown stubborn defense? Only contribute when it's open football? He should be sitting deeper not high up where he doesn't have the space be needs

Weigle (Dortmund) could be worth a punt and might not cost a kings ransom
Why would you think that?

He's one of the very best young players in his position. A host of all the big clubs have been sniffing around him for awhile now and all the reports constantly state is that Dortmund rate him incredibly highly (as they should).

On behalf of the club wanting to pole the comments of SC. Please can we have a sensible discussion.

It is widely known Danny Rose’s situation ‘will’ be up for review at the end of the season. This also applies to Toby. I want to add my wish for Sissoko to be in that situation, along VJ, and possibly Coco (I want us to keep him). Would you agree with the following:

1. Sell Toby circa (c) 50
2. Sell Danny c. 40m
3. Sell VJ c. 12-15m
4. Sell Sissoko-whatever we can get c. 15m
5. Keep Coco, and only sell if situation contract-wise does not activate.

That works out at an average of 110m (aside from wages) comes in.

A. We bring in a quality German 22 year old, height 6ft 4, with presence, technique, and quality, for 35m
B. Sess for 50m
C. Dembele apprentice c. 35m
D.Malcom c. 50-60
E. A versatile Kane accomplice 20-40m

That is a total spend of 220m. Deduct 110 (sales), leaves a deficit of 110. Thus is covered with the existing budget set aside for the splash.

What would you do. Would you be for? Or against?

My concern with this plan is selling Experience for Potential. We just witnessed the advantages of experience in the Juventus game. Tah, Sess, and Malcom all have great potential, but they will not advances Spurs in the CL next year. Are Spurs willing to take a step back next year with the potential to improve 2-3 years from now? I think alot depends on what happens this spring. If Spurs win FA, then players are more likely to stay. If Spurs win the FA, make few changes. But if not, I'd rather bring in Experience than youth.

Maybe he's playing where his manager has asked him to.

Or maybe he's playing in a position and given a role by his manager to carry out specific instructions on a football pitch.

Asking what his game is...honestly if you still don't know what he does by now then you will never understand.

So what you are saying is you don't know either

I'd be absolutely gutted if we sold Lamela.

Think Pochettino will bring his real talent out, we've seen it more recently.

He changed the game for me today. Obviously Son and Dele produced the end product, and Eriksen ran the show for long periods but this was precipitated by the introduction of Lamela.

It was his movement that was disrupting their shape which afforded Eriksen more room.

I love the guys desire, really gives his all and has buckets of talent.

Please keep.

I’d be absolutely gutted if we sold Toby to a top four rival. That would be devastating. We just can’t strenghten a rival again. Man C’s fullbacks were one of their major flaws last season. Even KdB publicly admitted that. We fixed their problem when we sold Walker. That can’t happen again.

(I admit it: seeing Walker in that team still hurts.)

I know he made a mistake for the 3rd goal yesterday but I was impressed by Lewis Cook. He looks a very good talent.
