Jonathan Tah has top potential but I doubt he will change a starting spot for us especially with the world cup approaching.

priority remains keeping our first 11 in place and getting some experience

Getting fed up with every paper linking our stars away -- we have sold Eriksen, Toby, Walker, Rose and Alli this weekend / today.... how long for Kane, Jan, Hugo to be linked with moves away - surely by end of week our first 11 have been sold off, yet Sissoko we cant give away

Big summer for Levy I think

Those winners and players who know how to get over the line are currently being nurtured at our club.
That's true but is there still not an argument for a guiding hand on the pitch when things get tasty?

Just the confidence you get when you're in a big match and you see a Phillip Lahm, or a Diego Godin out there.

Fair but I guess it's down to whether Poch wants an experienced campaigner which kinds of goes against his philosophy or it comes down to whether Levy will pay that player a lot of money knowing that they'd have no re-sale value and are probably likely to be off soon after.

It really doesnt considering he has worked with a lot of experienced campaigners before

I know it was unlikely anyway but as we had a lot of rumours last year

Marca are reporting Isco has signed a new deal until 2022.

Going to be interesting to see who RM sell in the summer. Now that Asensio is, rightly, getting more game time, somebody will need to be sold. James is probably most likely but who knows. Feel sorry for Bale, he has only played 27 games this season for RM completing 90 mins only 10 times. Think a lot of RM fans want to get rid of him.

Also rumours that Crystal Palace want 40 mil for Zaha, thats insane but in this day and age maybe not that surprising.

This is a player I would really like us to sign.

I think we need a right sided CB if we are to proceed with 3 at the back. Maguire is strong yet very comfortable on the ball. Perfect for this role. Dier IMO is far better as a DM. He needs to go back their to compete with Wanyama. There is of course the risk that Dier could be sold if he doesn't want get guarantees but IMO this would be a big mistake. More than enough games to go around.

We have more important things to spend money on than fixing stuff that isn't broken. Better contract for Toby for starters. If Dier goes back into MF where does that leave Dembele or Winks?

No reason we couldn't pick up a Gallas somewhere along the way. High wages and no resale value, but was good to have him for that first CL campaign. Making an exception for such a player wouldn't mean making a rule.
