You got to admit we did look a lot better at the back with Dawson in there.
Good win and have to admit I thought there was more chance of Elvis making an appearence than keeping a clean sheet given our defending of late.

I was impressed how he dealt with the Rose situation, taking him off when he did avoided their fans getting on his back and giving Stoke a lift. Its probs the best thing TS has done since he's been in charge.

Geoff Cameron should have been carded for that late cowardly challenge on Rose. That was somehow overlooked in the events that followed.
Kaboul did well to sweet talk the ref after Rose reacted - I guess he remains captain despite Daws returning, which is interesting.

Winning at Stoke is never easy. Great result, Rose maybe was lucky not to see red but sometimes you need a bit of luck. No reason we can't finish with 72 points which at the start of the season I would have thought enough for top four. It's a big if but if we can build on that get near 80 points next year we'll be in the title race. I'm not getting carried away I don't think we're on the verge of being champions but a season that's been so crazy maybe hasn't been so bad after all.

Spurs Dreamer blog posted an interesting article/stat today saying that a league table based on a start since TS took over at THFC would see us in 4th place.

I also thought Saturday's was our hardest remaining fixture. Am very confident we'll get the 4pts from the last 2 games we need to stay ahead of ManUre, and think we've a very good chance of getting all 6pts. If Everton slip up (and they have been doing a bit of that of late, and still must play Citeh) then we may yet catch them and take 5th.
