This was brilliant. I was about 11 at the time and watched it at a friend's house, another friend decided that Southampton were his new fave team and he spent the majority of the game gloating and laughing. As soon as we scored the third he got up and asked for his dad to come and get him.

What did I learn? Even kids are shits when it comes to gloating and goading.

I also loved this as a kid, thrilling game. However I watched the highlights not long ago and it was a bit of a let down to see Grobbelaar's keeping. I think this may have been one of the games he was checking them in. Happy to be proven wrong.

Historically, getting robbed against United in 2005 with that *goal*. Also all the Jol years, definitly the making of modern day Spurs.

Unfortunately my earliest memories of Spurs involve Gerry Francis... no idea how the fuck I ended up here.

It was also my first ever game!
The goal came from a corner and it was crazy in Park Lane end.
Only 2 years ago I took my wife to the last PALACE game at the Lane.
Walking up I saw a program seller and right at the front BOLTON 1978 April DIV 2. I had been searching for the better part of 30 years and 1 pound 50 later it was mine! To go with the ticket in a frame in my home office.

My very first memory of Spurs, is as an 8 year old who was aware of football, but wasn't very interested in it. My dad had the telly on, and was watching some match. As I went through the living room with an Optimus Prime in hand, I looked at the telly and saw a gangly bloke with longish hair, dressed in white, take the ball from his own half, dance through an entire team, drift past the goalkeeper, and slotted home. I was entranced. It was like magic. I asked my dad;

"Who was that?"
"Oh, bloody Spurs again..."

That magician was Glenn Hoddle, and even though I didn't realise that would be his last ever goal for Tottenham, I was hooked from that point on. Football became my life, and Tottenham became my team.
