I'd definately say they're right. The one that has suprised me most is Ledley. He's had chances to take the number 5 plenty over the years, assumed he was just going to keep his number 26 forever.

9 and 10 are for the new strikers signing this week, who I think could be Arshavin and Pavlukenko. I hope it's not Milito.

I hoped King would keep the number 26 shirt, so it's his number, the number 26 is synonomous with Ledley King.

Would be good for a lot of others to have smaller squad numbers though.

Being slightly controversal would prefer we keep some of that moola in our pockets and give Darren Bent the no. 10 shirt...

I think a few of them are wide of the mark, and were only being used so they could just get numbers 2-20 printed. I think most will keep their current numbers with the exception of Hutton and probably Bale.

He would get number 9 before number 10 - but he won't get either

If Ledley's gonna change his, I'd have thought it'd be to 6 as he's the left centre back, and Woodgate to 5 as he's the right.

Berba's still number 9, and hopefully Arshavin 10.

I'd be very surprised if Hudd got the no.6 over Woody? It does seem likely though...

39s a crap number IMO. way too high, makes it look like one of those mickey mouse leagues where idiots wear 99 and 88 and stuff

Although it may not really be a defenders number, no one else half decent besides Woody & Anelka have it.

I don't think it's really too high a number as in this league we are prohibited from going over 50 I believe? Each to their own I suppose.

Not strictly true. If your squad (i.e. number of players allocated with numbers) is less than 50 then they may have any number up to 50. If the squad is larger than that then you may allocate numbers over 50, but only sequentially, so in order to get to '99' you would need 99 registered players.
