We aren't playing too badly, goal was against the run of play, don't think we need to wet the bed just yet, plus we have quality on bench to give the likes of Son and Eriksen more space.

This is where we're at unfortunately. We can still play, still try, keep to our structures but injury, form and a litany of minor blows has finally caused the crisis of confidence it always threatened too. The domination against united without result was the straw that broke the camel's back.
We'll come back but the question is how much damage will be done before that happens

Agree. But when we play 3 in the back we should be using Foyth not Sanchez. He offers more on the ball than Sanchez and is more suited to it.

I'm still hopeful, I don't think Watford look that up for this, we were the masters of our own downfall but as soon as lamela and moura get into the mix, I still think we will do the job here. We've haven't been firing in a few first halfs recently, Poch will figure it out.

Started brightly just got considerably worse as the game went on.

Yeah Llorente does not suit this team, he can link up quite well with Son but its entirely dependent on everything revolving around him which is not our strong suit.

I'm a little disappointed that our last 5 games we've conceded first and lost the first half. We're definitely not been aggressive enough early.

Im also worried about our ability to turn games around at the moment. Which was rarely a concern before the United game.

at least 4 times that half the ball was out wide, Llorente had isolated his man and had his arm up for a cross.

yet the ball gets stopped and goes back. we are incapable of crossing, therefore incapable of playing to his strengths.

Also, I get that Poch doesn’t rate Lucas, and Lamela isn’t very good, but surely both of those options are preferable to playing an actual tree up front?

We do not sign players to long term contracts to deal with an injury crisis.

No football club does that. Least of all us.

There was never the slightest chance that we would sign a player in January to cover for our injuries. Zero.

I don't think the need is down to injuries. I think the need is down to complacency.

Too often, we have no fire in this team.
