Fantastic defender no doubt. Is he good enough going forward for a more attacking team like us? Not so sure for the huge amount of £ it would cost to get him

he looks quick and was originally a winger but isn't a fulllback's job primarily to defend ? and damn he does that well

Question to those that were there.. what was it like people? Did it feel like we can really kick on again?

Huge win in so many ways. We’ve given ourselves a fighting chance now with our top 4 rivals looking to have a tougher run in than ourselves.

Yeah it is but we rely on the fullbacks getting up and down the pitch to provide width. WBS doesn’t do this job for palace, he might be able to I don’t know

Was it just me or was the atmosphere quite dull? Didn't seem like the south stand was very Lively at all from the tv coverage.... If comparing to e.g. The yellow wall in Dortmund it just seemed like there's a way to go.

Don't get me wrong, I am not morning and I know it takes time to build a culture... just curious whether others feel the same.

Opening ceremony so shockingly bad I could barely watch. Right up there with Olympics. It improved slightly when it was just the girl and the baritone singing GGTH but even then I was squirming a bit. I thought it was slightly played up for American audience

Should have just got a Chas and Dave tribute act in and just had the kids sing along to it on the pitch

Fireworks and illumination fantastic.

Made hard work of it but a deserved win, Winks back and 6 days to prep for Citeh

Sky saying attendance was 3000 short of capacity, why ?I assume this was the corporate / away fans?

Okay eriksen scored. Hopefully that’ll kickstart things for him and maybe he’ll start to put some strength in his shots. He could’ve scored 4 today, ffs.

Played well. We’re finally home. Happy about it. But still extremely concerned we’ve bottled top 4. City away is fucking MASSIVE. Cannot lose that game.

Chas & Dave tribute act were probably at the City V Cardiff match...Not sitting next to each of course.

That was a very very nervy game made worse by going in 0.0 at ht.
I'm sure future game will be a bit louder.
Its hard to sing when you're clenching your arse cheeks.
